Why telegram instead of some kind of decentralized platform? I know you arent a fan, but signal handles groups well now and you can hide your phone number. Impossible to have your group dismantled since signal has no control over anything you say or do on the platform. Im sure there are also many other alternatives, but most people have signal now I never trusted telegram since they host all of the messages on their servers and can just delete you without any recourse.

I did, you talked about some merits of telegram. which is why I suggested signal as an alternative. It is almost up to par with telegram for groups (no threads though)

RT950 is a nice little radio, even if that data cable connection is horrible. Also, there's nothing to stop anyone running an SDR with an amp attached. Sure you'll probably get a lot of harmonics as soon as you hit transmit, but in this scenario who cares?

There must be an entire "tactical mesh network" online thing going on that I haven't stumbled into. I only ever see people talking about mesh for emergencies like natural disasters.

anything that transmits a signal can be detected. determining what it is / what the signal is sending is another thing.. So yeah kind of dumb to think a Drone using a Wifi signal or LORA /etc mesh network wont be detected. figure thats why they went to Fiber optic controled ones

It’s possible you drew some negative attention and they swarm reported you. Curious if you’re pursuing getting back on or not. I have been a supporter of telegram so I hope it gets resolved
