These people are evil, it's a miracle that noone has donw what our hero did to that CEO. This is mass murder not only in the US but across the world. I bet they are doing the same in my country South Africa.

And it's legal!

Do you have insurance to cover this situation?

And they think renaming “bureaucracy” to “artificial intelligence” is going to make a difference.

@InsightTweeting I was watching a doc about that woman Andrea Yates, she killed 5 of her children while suffering mental health issues. It was said that she was released prematurely from a psych ward bc her insurance refused to continue payment even though all her doctors wanted her to stay.

This is my life as a doctor— the moral injuries on a daily basis— and for years people just think we live a perfect life monetizing off of their “disease” But get this. Some suits up there have already had an army of mathematicians who crunched the numbers and decided that’s exactly how much you’re worth. Some things should not be as profitable as they are. The signs were there. We are literally naming stadiums after insurance companies.

I used to work in the medical services department of a certain health insurer, who may or may not have recently had an opening at the top. They would deny, then deny an appeal, deny again, and only pay when they realized a patient was not going to stop fighting for the service…

Insurance does not make healthcare cost less, it literally makes it more expensive. It in theory helps alleviate risk but it doesn't do that if it never pays out and if expenses are an inevitable part of life.

it’s wrong for a person to be murdered for doing his job however; these Insurance companies deny funds on valid claims knowing full well some of the ppl putting in claims could die if the insurance co refuses to help. As a result of this practice many have died waiting for $.

It's not just health insurance. Home insurance companies are dropping people right now because they don't want to cover homes in (currently) 3 states.

I just lost a friendship tonight over this. My "friend" defended this guy when I called him "evil". I never said anything about him deserving what happened. I just said he was evil and made his billions off the backs of sick people, specifically by denying them needed care.
