When I lived in Toronto I’d hear it fly over many times over the summer. I was able to take several photos over that time. It’s that distinctive sound that always alerted me to its fly over. Kudos to all those who keep her flying. 😊

You really need to stream this to a good sound system. My subwoofer loves it.

My Father flew in the Lancaster during the war. I took him to see Vera just before he passed away. Oh how I wish that I could fly in her just once.

I can hear that sound in my mind before I press play... The glorious sound of four Merlin's in a row is etched back in the earliest memories I have of old WW2 Aircraft.

I was lucky last year to have a taxy ride on #NX611 Just Jane in Lincolnshire, England but to fly in a Lanc is very much on my bucket list. Thank you for keeping her in the air.

Be still my beating heart! I wonder if the aircrew breath a heavy sigh of relief when the wheels kiss the tarmac.
