It's not worth wasting your time with these people. They tend to clinge upon hearsays and conspiracy theories defend it instead of hearing the truth, which is pretty sad and sums up how society always works.

I love how he stopped responding all together once you bring the ultimate proof. It’s like a these peope live for is pushing a false narrative. For example, I know this girl put a lot of work into her video but knowing’s it’s based on a lie should be grounds for deletion

these people talk in such a way as if Shelley's life was summed up in "the shining" and then jumped to her as an old woman...when her career continued after the movie until the early 2000s, they don't try to research her life and career which goes far beyond that movie

They may have had some creative differences, but I’ve never heard of Kubrick saying anything bad about Shelley Duvall. He thought Stephen King had a punky mouth. There was bad blood that way. Ed Bishop, and Brian Johnson weren’t fans of Stanley, either.

Of course it was difficult on the entire cast & crew and Shelley was always vocal about the toll it took but people acting like it ruined her entire life is mind boggling to me. They don’t give her any control over her career.
