@TheDeafPrincess My son lost his home 3 weeks ago because his roommate got pissed off at him, my son lost everything including all his VA papers and we all know how slow the VA moves.The Red Cross stepped in and helped and now he is living with me for the next 6 months. I am Thankful he is alive!

@TheDeafPrincess I can’t stress enough why people should get renters insurance. I have it through GEICO and pay less than $15 per month and it’s worth the piece of mind. You just never know. I’m glad all are ok.

@TheDeafPrincess Just out of curiosity, is this not what The Red Cross and The Salvation Army helps with? Emergency housing placements, essentials - food, clothing, help to get medications, etc? They should be able to access these supports IMMEDIATELY as opposed to having to wait for the GFM

@TheDeafPrincess I wish someone would help me. I mean I’m sorry for this family. It’s devastating to them. But why help some and not others?

@TheDeafPrincess I will share, please have the mom reach out to red cross. I was in a house fire and they helped with clothing, hotel, food vouchers and gift certificates and more. I don't know if they still do that, but def. worth a shot.
