I know the recurring 67s are repeated forever, but she'd we ignore the fact that multiplying the decimal by 100, no matter the no. of decimal places, reduces it's decimal places by two digits? If u agree with this case, then 67.67... minus 0.67... isn't 67, cos their no. of

My first solution, is I divided both sides by 100

I did the spicy one as follows: 0.1243243... = 0.324324... - 0.2 = (324/999) - (2/10) = (3240/9990) - (1998/9990) = 1242 / 9990

Another option is to multiply the number by the number of 10*n where n is the number of moves after the decimal point to achieve a whole number….
