My first solution, is I divided both sides by 100

I did the spicy one as follows: 0.1243243... = 0.324324... - 0.2 = (324/999) - (2/10) = (3240/9990) - (1998/9990) = 1242 / 9990

Another option is to multiply the number by the number of 10*n where n is the number of moves after the decimal point to achieve a whole number….
