TINUBU BEGINS 10-DAY ANNUAL LEAVE President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Abuja to commence a working vacation in Europe, as part of his 2025 annual leave. A statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said the vacation will last 10 working days. The president will spend the period between France and the UK before returning to the country. At the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, he was seen off by the governors of Imo and Lagos states, along with his Chief of Staff, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and other senior government officials. This is the second time the president is taking annual leave since assuming office. In October 2024, he spent two weeks on vacation in the United Kingdom, during which he was expected to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms and hold consultations. Earlier this year, in April, he also embarked on what the presidency described as a short working visit to Paris, to review mid-term performance and plan ahead for his second anniversary in office.
