i mean it's 2 different genres of acting. one is a musical comedy whilst the other is a musical thriller. both excelled at their respective roles considering both are contenders to be nominated at the Oscars, GoldDerby currently has Ariana at #4 and Selena at #8

they're both doing what they have to do for their specific scene. now why are you comparing comedy to a dramatic scene?

selena’s character is much more harder to pull off so ariana would never be this good as selena if she was jessi

and ari will be taking that oscar
