when the elites/execs see hiphop as “unprofitable” the real artistry will return

It's just not a balance no more. We always had Street rap but it was Conscious rap that was the balance. Now everything is killing and hoeing

The industry has destroyed hiphop. It looks and sounds nothing like what it was at its inception when we created it. When I was growing up in the 70s, when it was still on the streets and in community centers. No nigs or b's not even any cursing. It was not about drugs or hoe

No, Black Americans need to learn how to protect our culture and not in secret. Its a damn shame the fear and bottom cast we must look. She needed to pick her head up. HipHop is but 1 genre of our art in motion.

She’s so far off… It’s not about who has access to it. The genre itself has deteriorated into violence and utter nonsense.

Once I see it’s on the radio(and I would NEVER listen to the radio, ONLY my own playlist), I’m disinterested. If yall are on it, I don’t want it.

Ma’am have you heard today’s music? Top 40 or not, that music is not lifting communities. They either wanna slide on opps or do drugs 😭

She dropped wisdom, and yes hip hop is trash. Although Wil Smith is corny, but this right here is still my jam.

Hip hop is our culture. The industry commercialized access to just the musical aspect of it. That’s all our enemy could fathom. There are 5 elements in hip hop. The Emcee (Mc/Master Of Ceremony) The Dj (Disc Jokey) Graffiti The BBoy (Breakdancer) Knowledge of self 💎

@CMH_theGoat A lot of great hip hop music was released this year, but it isn't receiving the support it deserves. The issue lies in allowing anyone , as some use hip hop for fame before moving on to other genres. We need to safeguard the culture and support the talented rappers out now.

Who runs the music organizations? Who molded your culture into the self destructive plague on society? Who owned the Trans Atlantic slave companies? Who at the height of slavery owned 72% of African slaves? Because it's not the people you're taught to blame.

I think white people and other communities need to gatekeep their culture and traditions from black Americans. Too many of these kinds of black people feel welcomed into white industries and love the idea of excluding others. Boycott hip hop and stop giving them platforms

Yep. Money killed hip-hop. I haven't listened to modern RAP for 20 years. The Underground still exists but mumble is this new generation's version of hip-hop. Garbage. On the upside, I saw the Roots this summer and Little Brother 2 months ago.

I think we need to change the name & base the new name off our specific linage, so the world will not be able to steal. & we need to change the frequency.
