This truck is an amazing value at $80k. Air suspension, covered bed, 4 wheel steering, banging sound system… just amazing.

I know I'm a broken record, but someone needs to be the angel on your shoulder You are seriously exceeding the published ratings for the truck The lack of squat due to air suspension is meaningless as regards weight distribution The rear axles of an AWD CT have a payload capacity of 1,883 lbs 10 bales * 800 pounds = 8,000 and the center of mass is ~30% of the way from the axle set to the hitch, that means tongue weight of 2,400 pounds ignoring the trailer Maybe 3,000 including trailer? The hitch is rated for 1,100 pounds, so you are at least 2x, possibly 3x that limit Te hitch rating is for a ball at 49" from rear axle 7.3" from the pin. Your adjustable height pintle setup is much longer than that, looks at least 16", so double the specified lever arm Combined, you are possibly running 6x the rated torque on the receiver With 58 inch pin to ball, 143 inch wheelbase, and 3,000 pounds of tongue weight, the front axle is unloaded by 1,200 pounds so rear axle loading is 4,200, over double the rated value of 1,883 Rear GAWR is 5,247 this is around 7,600 so close to 50% over Empty front axle curb is 3,305, due to trailer, around 1,100 And that's before you brake and the high CG of the load also acts on the hitch Plus, the slopes in the pintle is going to shock load the hitch system

In my defense you're off on your calculations - it's a MUCH safer 13" from the pin to the ball. 🤪
