Let’s talk about how much money these Democrats are pulling in behind the scenes from the insurance companies. Because when you follow the cash, the votes make a lot more sense.

@hakeemjeffries only pay $213 a year in property taxes while living in a $1.2 million condo

@hakeemjeffries Crazy

Now, do Trump and the Trump Family, who have pocketed more than $1.8 billion in cash and gifts since his 2024 reelection.

They aren't giving them this money because they like them. Just the price of doing business.

Indeed

3.4 billion trump has made in 11 months and you are made at a few million ?!?! fuck outta here disingenuous arguments

Always follow the money trail. It will lead to the 535. For the one thousandth, two hundredth and fifty seventh time, our problem is Congress. It has been this way for over 200 years. Ain't gonna change. Term limits can slow it down but it won't stop.

💯

It’s all one big circle jerk and the American people who work hard for a living are the suckers.

And #1 on the list for making BILLIONS while in office.

Follow the money.

LOL. You think the Big Pharma companies aren't funding Republicans? Amgen - 2023-24.

You know the fraud is MASSIVE!!

WTF are you talking about KAREN?? This Government in 100% republican losers, House, Senate, White House, SCOTUS and all of them on the right are stealing tax $$$ daily, 8 republican Senators put a $1.5 Million cash payday for themselves in the CR, the theft must be prosecuted

Exactly

If this is true then black voters, and black people in general, need to be looking for another “New Deal”. This is what led black people to flip from Republican to Democrat after the Civil War, during the “great depression”, I believe. Black people woke up and realized that Democrats had a solution to the corruption in the Republican Party that led to the “New Deal” for poor whites, and definitely for poor blacks. Black Americans benefited from the New Deal in tangible but uneven and often segregated ways. While the programs were not designed specifically for racial equity, they provided economic relief, jobs, and infrastructure to millions—including Black families—during the Great Depression. Because Republicans had started lining their pockets with cash, black people flipped to Democrat. And now it seems the shoe is on the other foot, right now. Wow! Maybe this is why Elon, although a very rich man he is indeed, thinking we would be better off with having another “third party”. Maybe, one grounded trillionaire, with common sense, is what we need to get us out of this quagmire. We need a new party that doesn’t get filthy rich off of the middle class, and the poor - “who we always have with us” - American’s, blood, sweat, and tears.

Just like the ACA & the kickbacks, no Republicans involved! Democrats know whose buttering they’re bread.

THIS IS HUGE 🎈

Quit fucking lying for Republicans.

Wow… almost as much as one of trumps grifting parties. Of course that’s if I take your word for those numbers. One thing I have learned about Trump and his magats is that facts are just things you make up to support their positions. Not really believable.

Now do the Conservatives. You know, two party system and all that jazz.

Sad but true. Follow the $$ and you see the voting patterns. Insurance companies paid $10M to Dems in 2024. They paid $14M to GOP that same year. Meanwhile, Elon Musk says, ‘hold my beer’ because he single-handedly donated $291.5M to GOP, $250M just to Trump & $41.5M to others.

This video and post are for our beloved President, Pam Bondi and Kash Patel.

@GigaBeers This is a very important subject. We've been getting fleeced by the politicians for so many years that we've gotten used to it. But it needs to be investigated and the money needs to be accounted for.

Insurance companies fund way more Republican politicians. Insurance companies hedge their bets. Quit blaming Dems for the Repubs' mess. Dems have been trying for 75 years to initiate a Universal Healthcare system, like 32 of the 33 developed nations in the world have.

OpenSecrets data for the 2024 shows the insurance industry contributed: $17 million to Democrats and $21 million to Republicans overall, indicating bipartisan reliance on such funding that may influence healthcare legislation across parties. Research, and the research some more....Untangle the lies and deceit

In the future, talk about something you understand. If you want to “follow the cash,” you need to follow all of it, not just the donations you do not like. Insurance companies donate to Democrats and Republicans in every cycle. Republicans take just as much, and often more, in industry money. That is how corporate PACs work, they hedge their bets and give to whoever has power, on both sides of the aisle. And I am not even sure what “vote” you think you are talking about, because Democrats have not passed anything that is some secret giveaway to insurance companies. If you mean ACA subsidies, you are just wrong about how they work. ACA subsidies are structured as tax credits for individuals and families, tied to their income and the cost of coverage. The money follows the person, not the company. The whole point is to make regulated, comprehensive plans affordable for people who would otherwise be priced out, while forcing insurers to cover pre existing conditions, essential benefits, no lifetime caps, and no rescissions. That is more obligation and more risk for insurers than they had before, which is why they fought big pieces of the law in the first place. So no, this is not some one way “Democrats take money, then vote for insurers” story. The industry funds both parties heavily, and the ACA structure was built around protecting patients from junk plans and denial games, not around making life easier for insurers.

Congress blood suckers are always finding ways to make sure they take care of each other first, American citizens last. It's sickening to watch all these leeches of both parties secretly doing dirty work for each other.

Cmon folks. I’m against just as much as anyone! BUT both sides are getting nearly equal amounts from this industry. From @Grok: Based on the information available up to the latest updates, here's a breakdown of how much Republican congressmen received from insurance industry donations during the 2024 election cycle, as reported by OpenSecrets: - Total Insurance Industry Donations to Republicans in 2024: Approximately $11.9 million. - Top Republican Recipients: - Kevin Hern (R-OK): $191,250 - Mike Johnson (R-LA): $181,500 - Tom Cole (R-OK): $180,500 - Jason Smith (R-MO): $179,000 - Richard Hudson (R-NC): $177,500

Go get more botox and give it a rest...
