Real Talk - Society doesnt want to view men as victims and women as perpetrators! It's taboo. The immediate response therefore is to justify and reason why the man deserved it and re-frame the woman as a victim. Men's suffering n pain then goes unheard

For some reason we have this idea that men like to roam and women cleave to relationships.. but women initiate over 70% of divorces, and when a relationship ends, men typically have much more to lose.. it’s actually the opposite of the typical social stereotypes.
