Cover 7; variation of Cover 4 with sub rules to combat the spread pass. Matching routes that are down the field. Challenges; must have answers vs. motions 2x2 to 3x1, empty and quads. One of my favorite coverages creating 4-over-3, 2-over-1. #DefensiveMindset 🏈

Now that the "Blueprint to beating Drake Maye" is playing high amounts of Cover 6 defense. I want to help demystify it's strengths and weaknesses: Definition: Cover 6 is simply two DBs on one side playing deep quarters and one DB on the opposite side playing deep half (Literally adding Cover 4 and Cover 2 concepts) It is great for fooling young players who can't read which coverage you are in when you are in a combo coverage. What works against flats: Pre-snap reads that quickly identify if the Will or the Sam are covering the flats can help you target that area of the field to capitalize on the speed difference between defender and skill position players. What works against Cover 2 side: Hole shots as well as comebacks/curls plus inside receiver corners What works against the Cover 4 side: Crossing over the face of the inside DB and running deep leverage "Bang 8" routes that isolate the outside DB This video breaks it down perfectly! #NEPats

This Is the Most Frustrating Coverage to Play Against in #CollegeFootball27 🔒🔥 Pressed Man is incredibly strong this year, but most players aren't setting it up correctly. Simply pressing isn't enough. The setup: 1️⃣ Press your defense 2️⃣ Shade Underneath 3️⃣ Shade Inside Why it works: 🏈 Shading underneath takes away the quick throws that normally beat press man. 🏈 Shading inside gives your corners better leverage on crossers, drags and other in-breaking routes. 🏈 Your safeties stay over the top, meaning even many corner routes end up getting bracketed or forced into jostle animations instead of creating separation. If you're running Cover 2 Man, this should be one of your go-to adjustments. 🎥 Full breakdown in the video. 📌 Bookmark this and follow Swolosimo for more College Football 27 tips 🔥

This goes with my tweet earlier in week about how Pick 6s on HITCH routes look bad for the QB, but they are tough for a QB bc really based on pre-snap look, not a post-snap read! Here’s a #StudyBall look at what I mean! Be a student of the game!

This might be the BEST Money Play in #Madden27 right now. Press Man, Off Man, Cover 0, Cover 3, Cover 4... This simple Post + Slant combo gives you an answer against basically EVERYTHING you'll see online. Formation: Trips X Nasty Play: Switch HB Wheel The setup: 1️⃣ Slant the TE 2️⃣ Streak the Outside WR 3️⃣ Flat the RB Against Press Man, the TE is off the line so the Slant avoids the press and can immediately fry Man Coverage. The Short Post is also one of the BEST Man-beating routes in the game, while the built-in Return Route gives you a THIRD option that can consistently win against Man. Against the 61 Murples META / Cover 0, you're now forcing the User to account for multiple routes that can all beat their Man Coverage. And against Zone? The Post sits underneath the Deep Zones for 20+ yards while creating multiple High-Lows: ✅ First Progression: Post + Slant High-Low ✅ Second Progression: Post + Return High-Low That gives you multiple answers against Man AND Zone without constantly changing your setup. 🎥 Full breakdown in the video 📌 Just one setup in Swolosimo's recent Buccaneers Gameplan Update!

2 observations from this video from Evan Fairbanks raw footage 9/11. First, did you know that there was a large concourse underneath the WTC complex. Those who worked in the towers regularly walked these underground routes to get to work in towers, catch their PATH trains, shop, and grab lunch. Workers in the towers used these routes to evacuate to streets several blocks away from the wtc complex, however these routes would be destroyed by the collapse of the wtc2 tower, forcing those to look for other exit options. Secondly, notice at the beginning of the footage, those are FBI agents questioning Evan and the footage he collected. They actually take him into their offices to have a “discussion”, which we don’t know what took place exactly since there was never any audio. This was all while the 9/11 tragedy was unfolding above. Very interesting.

this is the all-22 angle of 3 Double Cloud if you were curious. It plays like a pre-set, 3-high version of Cover 2. And Seahawks do a nice job of making it look like one of their staple Cover 6 calls. Keys are Thomas and Pritchett at the top and bottom playing as Cloud flat defenders. One of worst coverages for 989 because of, well, exactly what happened.

Setting your Flat Zones to 10 yards is one of the best ways to BAG meta flood concepts in Madden 26 🛑🧠 Most players are getting killed by stem-down corners or Bunch Nasty floods because they haven’t touched their coaching adjustments. How to set them up • Go to Coaching Adjustments • Scroll to Flat Zones • Set to 10 yards • In-game: Triangle / Y → Down on the Right Stick to shade underneath Why it’s elite • It baits the QB by looking like it’s covering the corner before dropping to the flat • One hard flat can essentially cover two routes at once • It’s the ultimate counter to stem-down corners and tight end flats/HB Crab Routes 🎥 Full breakdown in the video Bookmark this and follow Swolosimo for more Madden tips
