There's something about Sheila Jackson Lee saying "let me tell you what the truth is" that completely discredits anything coming after - LOL...

30 years or more of massive corruption, failure after failure and indoctrination. Your time for grandstanding is over. HISD's horrific failures to serve the taxpayers mirror your own.

This is an outright lie. It's what she has done for 30 plus years in Congress. Vote her out next time Houston.

The truth is also HISD has had time to get their house in order and get their standards up and have FAILED to do so. It’s crazy to continue to let failure lead this school district.

Looks like you are are going to be as helpful to HISD as you were to North Forest.

HISD had since 2016 to fix the problem. But people like you that are corrupt and don’t actually do anything but talk is why this happened. It’s not political but you all are trying to spin it. How about fixing the problem. It’s not all the schools but a good majority.

In ALL of your YEARS as a politician, what exactly have YOU done to help HISD, ma’am?! (Other than run your mouth when it’s convenient for your friends to make money?)

The takeover just means HISD will be more closely monitored by the state because it failed to meet the state’s standards for school districts. I’m all for the change, HISD has been declining and losing teachers to other Houston school districts for too long.
