HISD had since 2016 to fix the problem. But people like you that are corrupt and don’t actually do anything but talk is why this happened. It’s not political but you all are trying to spin it. How about fixing the problem. It’s not all the schools but a good majority.

The takeover just means HISD will be more closely monitored by the state because it failed to meet the state’s standards for school districts. I’m all for the change, HISD has been declining and losing teachers to other Houston school districts for too long.
