let's talk tips... 🤑💰💵 what IS the proper etiquette when accepting tips from the audience? 🤔

Assault their mother, marry their father, and have several of his children making the tipper the lesser stepchild. Ostracize them from the family, and remove them from the will. Then take their $1.00 and give them a wink, and let them know the family reunion is at 3 tomorrow

acknowledge the tip! do a little eye contact! a wink or an air kiss! then proceed to move your tip to your other hand to keep one hand free. Do not just throw it on the floor!!!

Your tips should only touch the floor if you make a whole moment of it and throw the money into the air like confetti or something, otherwise they get politely put on a spare table or in the tip bucket. I've seen too many Hansel and Gretel dollar bill trails around a bar.

🤣 following local queens online and having been to shows past and present there differently has been a change in how tips are collected. MY perception is that old school queens had a more appreciative approach on collecting tips were as new queens just snatch and throw

1) collect it rhythmically/on beat 2) collect it with grace/energy/perform for the person tipping you. Even a smile or a nod or a bit with them 3) throw it in a bucket. Or make it an explosion and rain on you. ORRRRR keep them in your hand and be opulent holding lots of money. Don't just throw it
