Dan Twining, President of International Republican Institute, spoke on the importance of supporting democratic movements, while Javier El-Hage from the Human Rights Foundation presented the newly launched Tyranny Tracker, mapping dictatorships around the world. Executive Council members Carine Kanimba, Andrei Sannikov, Chemi Lhamo, and Shukria Barakzai also shared powerful remarks on supporting frontline leaders fighting for freedom in their countries and the path forward for the WLC. The fight against authoritarianism is global — and solidarity is essential.
