My first meeting with the new Prime Minister of Latvia, Andris Kulbergs (AS) 🇺🇦🇱🇻, and an important result for our countries – we signed a Drone Deal. These are concrete things to strengthen our joint defense and co-production, and, importantly, this also means Ukraine’s expertise and experience helping to strengthen our partners. This is exactly the kind of systemic cooperation we are building with those who have consistently supported us throughout all the years of Russia’s war. Ukraine is interested in ensuring that every region of Europe has sufficient protection against Russian threats. I also informed the Prime Minister about Ukraine’s air defense needs. Separately, we discussed sanctions pressure on Russia, in particular strengthening sanctions against Russia’s shadow fleet. I am grateful that we have such excellent relations between our nations. And we thank Latvia for all the support it has provided to Ukraine throughout this war.

This is as nothing in comparison to what Israel has done to Gaza. But I can tell you all, that the whole world was cheering every time an Iranian missile hit Israel, every single time. The whole planet was cheering, the only people that weren’t were those who are too afraid of Israel to show happiness. Fuck Israel 🇮🇱 well done Iran. Those 12 days were the best 12 days of respite for Gaza and the West Bank at least they had a few days peace.

Last night, Russia once again waged war on critical infrastructure and ordinary residential buildings. 420 drones – most of them “shaheds” – and 39 missiles of various types, including 11 ballistic ones, were fired at our people. Destruction has been recorded in eight regions, with many private homes and apartment buildings damaged. As of now, dozens of people are reported injured as a result of this attack, including children. Gas infrastructure facilities in the Poltava region were also targeted, along with electrical substations in the Kyiv and Dnipro regions. First responders have been working in the Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv regions, as well as in the capital. Most missiles launched today were successfully intercepted thanks to our partners swiftly sending part of the air defense missiles agreed upon at the recent Ramstein meeting. There are reports that Mission Hospital in Asheville North Carolina was told today, that they will be the morgue for body recovery. As of a few days ago, there were reports of 900+ bodies at the hospital that haven’t been identified. There are also reports of babies and children washing up in the river, and more reports of bodies in trees. An insurance agent Hana’s teammates went to drop off supplies in Asheville and set up relief tents yesterday. While setting up they saw four babies, three children as well as adult bodies that were recovered from the mud and trees. National guard member Breona Bryant has also mentioned that they are seeing dead children. Those doing rescue operations are traumatized and many survivors of the storm are suffering from survivors guilt.

The flame of russia's nightly terror hasn't yet gone out in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. Over the years, we Ukrainians have endured much, but the horrors of war have no end, and we feel this every single night. For us, sunrise isn't a moment of relaxation in a warm bed, but the end of a night full of tension that never lets go. Even with our eyes closed, our ears and bodies feel every explosion, every sound of a russian "Shahed" drone or a missile flying past. Our cities are being shelled, sometimes individually, sometimes massively, as they were to night. Ukraine is a set of iron, mighty gates that a beast is trying to break down. Behind these gates is the rest of the civilized world, which has either not understood, or has only partly understood, what's happening here. All I can do is show you how our night passed.
