I don’t mean to be that guy but if he really had Covid why did he get to “decide” to still run?

If #NoahLyles has #Covid why was he allowed to race? Shouldn’t he have been in quarantine? He put others at risk. Is this diagnosis accurate or is it a cop out since he lost? What’s the real story here @NBCOlympics #Paris2024Olympic #GOLD #OlympicGames #noah

I mean that’s amazing that he won medals with COVID but why are athletes being allowed to compete/be around people without a mask when they have COVID?

If Noah Lyles was diagnosed with Covid TWO DAYS AGO, why was he allowed to compete—or even associate with the other athletes???

Nice that he was allowed to compete despite being ill, just as athletes have done for decades. Reminds us of how awful the rules were in 2020-2022 that took those choices and opportunities away from athletes

@MurphyKeith The talk will be that he was still able to get 3rd with Covid & that he ran in the first place but what about the runners he hugged after the race? How do they feel right now?

@NBC. He also has asthma in case you’re not aware. Where are the protocols when someone test positive for Covid?
