This girls co-worker put in a three week notice for PTO for her sister's upcoming wedding that she had to travel for. It was approved by the manager but two days before the girls departure, she's asked if she can change her plans because they need her for a client presentation. She obliviously can't because flights and hotels are already paid for and non-refundable, so she goes to her sisters wedding. I think this is her first acting job and she's incredible in it. This woman’s lease was up and she decided to move out. When she asked about getting her security deposit back, she was told she wouldn’t be getting the full amount, this upset her enough that she would go down there and try to plead her case to the landlord. For me when she mentioned how many properties he has, this backfired on her. I feel she thinks since he does well, she shouldn’t be charged anything, after seeing his pics of the condition she left the home in, I think I side with the Landlord, did she make a compelling case for you?

What I keep going back to is why would Candace, knowing that TPUSA and DW are building a case(s) on her actually do that podcast yesterday. Did she not talk to her attorneys? Did she just brush them off for the 300k or her ego? The other day she said she thought she knew the law better than Baron because she’s read so many lawsuits. This game never fails to make me cry. Dorothy never wanted revenge. She just wanted somebody to recognize her sacrifices for the Ark. She was heartbroken because she was abandoned. Her friends moved on, and she couldn’t. That's ok! It just shows how human she is, and how being so human brings out all of her flaws so naturally that it hits perfectly. She just needed headpats and praise. When I first read Ark Guardian, I saw all of her struggles. She was keeping it all together as the leader of the squad, and losing all of her precious people one by one broke her. The wound the Ark gave her was the last straw. I’m so happy I never lost faith in her. I knew she wasn’t meant to be a bad person, she’s a hero and will always be one. This chapter was so emotional as fuck. BURNINGUM IS THE TRUE MVP HERE.

Had an interesting conversation this weekend with an older relative who's politics are "just be a good person". She's relatively wealthy and gives to the types of causes you would expect this type of person to give. She gives her time too. She is actually a good person. I asked her if she was ever concerned that the causes she gave to would reduce the proportion of people like her in the world. She said that she thought the opposite. That she was inspired by the generosity and kindness of others, and that by giving she would increase the proportion of people like her. I said I believed she inspires her peers, but her peers aren't the people she's giving money to. Do they become productive and generous people, like her? Or is she just increasing the proportion of people who are takers and don't give anything back? Despite decades of generosity, this was clearly a question she had never thought about. The implications made her uncomfortable, and the conversation basically ended after that.
