LGBT Pride events have become extremist and hyper-partisan - which is why corporate sponsors are abandoning them. Recognizing gays in the workforce isn't inherently political, but until these events are reformed, corporations will continue to stay away.

I remember doing pride stuff with friends in like 2015. BBQ and concerts, have a beer or two. It was a good excuse to be outside in the summer Now it’s been completely co-oped by trans. No one wants trans kids bike parades. No companies want to sponsor drag kids brunch.

Agreed, but there is no need to even discuss sexual preferences in the work place, at all. In conversation with coworkers about personal life, if someone mentions a significant other by title (husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc.) shouldn't be the focus.

Disagree. Many gay and lesbian people had to come out in order to be entitled to the same partner benefits as heteros. Hence, there's not "no need." There is a need.

The far left has ruined the gay pride parades. I’m not gay but I used to support my (gay) friends at family friendly parades in Houston for years until they turned it into a freak show.

Here's an idea - how about we stop assigning any value whatsoever to immutable characteristics.
