End of an era. Moving day from Harrow on the Hill. I have spent half my life in this street and my son has spent his whole life here. He went to school a stone’s throw away from the front door and we often had a house full of his schoolmates playing cricket in the garden. I spent most of my working life at Sky based in this street. I remember being woken by my head of news and driving up the road in the dark on 31st August, 1997 not knowing what the day would bring - it was the morning Diana died. We will leave many memories behind ❤️

10 year old me (who's a big Steve Park fan), couldn't watch this race live since it ended on a Monday, so I spent all day at school wondering what happened. My mom was home taping the race for me so I could watch it when I got home. The bus pulled up to my stop and I saw my mom out of the window waiting for me. She saw me on the bus and mouthed "he won!" and I bolted off of the bus, threw the tape in the VCR and watched the whole race back as if it were happening live. Lots of happy tears were shed that day. This race is easily my favorite of all time, and one I'll remember for the rest of my life.

He was genuinely interested in learning about our jobs. It was such a cool experience. He was getting ready for the NBA Draft. I remember asking him what his first big purchase would be. I love that he said paying off his parents’ mortgage. We were blessed to have KAT at Kentucky. So happy he could win it all with the Knicks. He truly is the best on and off the court!
