.GreenVersity #WoSFL Fourth Division Side Newmains United Community FC new goalkeeper Ben McAllister had a dream debut for the Dallies today as he saved a penalty from Giffnock SC WOSFL in the 32nd minute with the scores locked at 0-0, he then watched his side run out 0-3 winners, and to top it off was voted as player of the match with a clean sheet. Ben joined Newmains from Saturday morning team River Nevis, but rather than stopping goals, he was banging them in for the amateur side where he finished the season on 21 goals, winning their top scorer award for the second season in a row as a forward!. What a debut at the other end for the Dallies!

Women in one of the top football leagues in Sydney, Australia, have been banned from protesting against a “trans-inclusive” team that has been known to have up to 5 male players. Trans-identified male athletes on The Flying Bats FC have repeatedly injured female players. In 2022, The Flying Bats FC was presented with a Fair Play award, the same year that a female player had her leg broken in two places by a male player for their team. She was "screaming in pain". Her teammate was penalized for "transphobia" because she was upset about it.

I had to physically restrain myself from hurling something at the TV the moment I heard that smirking, weasel Albanese declare, “Our word means something.” This coming from a pathological liar whose word means absolutely nothing — a man who won’t tell the truth if it slapped him across the face, and who’ll spit out any filthy lie if he thinks it’ll buy him one extra vote. And let’s never forget exactly why we’re in this shameful mess. We signed the IEA agreement and our politicians gave Australia’s solemn word to keep a minimum 90 days of petrol and diesel reserves. Shamefully, Australia is the only nation on Earth that has arrogantly broken its word and completely ignored this obligation. And now Albanese is up in Singapore begging that Australia be forgiven for breaking its word. No one — and I mean no one — is more directly responsible for Australia breaking its word than Anthony Albanese. For six long years as Infrastructure and Transport Minister under the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd circus, and nearly four years as Prime Minister, he has contemptuously thumbed his nose at the promise Australia made to the world. The idea that changing the date will lead us to any more ‘unity’ is hilarious. They spent Australia Day saying ‘abolish Australia’ and the days before it destroying ANZAC monuments and burning the flag. This guy’s petulance against his fellow Whites for not agreeing with him shows he’s absolutely out of the loop on what animates either side of the debate. The ‘indigenous’ side of the debate is not principally concerned with the date but rather Australia’s existence. Whatever unity you think there is to be had if we just change this date exists only in imagination. I don’t care if you can find like 1 Indigenous person in a comment section saying they support Australia Day and strong borders or whatever, the exception proves the rule; take a gander at any of their peak representation, and all you will find is rabid anti-Whitism. That’s what matters, not the single individual who has zero authority. Remember the voice, see the state treaties, see the land grants - they are literally stealing the country from you and you just disarm your own side talking about ‘unity’. Yeah calling for unity feels good, wanting everyone to chillax and it all be kumbaya is a comfortable position but it's the position that enables all sorts of evils to be continuously committed against us. Stop being defensive and start being offensive before there is no country left to defend.

I want to go over last night’s doozy in San Francisco because there is A LOT of confusion about it. In a 6-6 tie between the visiting Los Angeles Angels and the home and batting SFGiants with Jesus Rodriguez on third, Luis Arraez on second, and Bymryce Eldridge on first, Rafael Devers hit what is normally a ground rule double. In-game, this was scored as a ground rule double and the final score was determined by the scorer to be 8-6. The issue is there is a rule for this exact situation, which is rule 9.06 (f) “(f) Subject to the provisions of Rule 9.06(g), when a batter ends a game with a safe hit that drives in as many runs as are necessary to put his team in the lead, the Official Scorer shall credit such batter with only as many bases on his hit as are advanced by the runner who scores the winning run, and then only if the batter runs out his hit for as many bases as are advanced by the runner who scores the winning run. Rule 9.06(f) Comment: The Official Scorer shall apply this rule even when the batter is theoretically entitled to more bases because of being awarded an “automatic” extra-base hit under various provisions of Rules 5.05 and 5.06(b)(4).” It’s the comment that is the key element. Even though this is normally an extra base hit for two bases, since the winning run was on third base, he only needed one base to score, so the batter, Devers, by rule can only be credited with one base. I believe support got involved very quickly, because within 10 minutes of me posting about this mistake, the score was adjusted to 7-6, and Devers was credited with a single. Now, Arraez never touched home anyway, but that doesn’t matter as even if he did, by rule, his run wouldn’t have mattered, as the score was 7-6 regardless. I have seen some folks saying the Los Angeles Angels appealed Arraez not touching home and that’s why the score was adjusted. I can confirm that this didn’t happen. WOW v14.3.2 is very decisive and is able to execute with great confidence. Big fan. That said, in my first drive it messed up *spectacularly* twice in <15 miles of suburban driving. In one instance, it swerved out of its through lane of traffic into a lane that was ending, right as it was ending. It was not trying to overtake any vehicles, it just swerved over violently. ugh The other, in the video below, it did not consider that the left lane was turn-only, and tried to use it overtake other vehicles while their light was red. (this intersection begins with left turn green and through-lanes red) It is still very slow to merge into the proper lane in time for a turn, and ended up cutting off a large truck to make its turn. Could it have completed its maneuvers and continued without intervention? Yes. Would it be safe or legal to do so? No. Plenty of work left to do on FSD.

WOW v14.3.2 is very decisive and is able to execute with great confidence. Big fan. That said, in my first drive it messed up spectacularly twice in <15 miles of suburban driving. In one instance, it swerved out of its through lane of traffic into a lane that was ending, right as it was ending.
