We hung up the Aussie flag at work today 🇦🇺 What started at home with Aussie Sons is now in the workplace too — building a culture of pride, gratitude, and respect for this nation. We’re blessed by the generations who built our Constitution and made Australia what it is. This country has stood the test of time, but today it’s under real pressure — from bad policy, corporate capitulation, and authoritarian overreach. The way forward isn’t fear — it’s optimism, patriotism, and strong communities. In our families, our workplaces, and our streets. Through Aussie Sons, Australia Marches, and our ALG Australian lobby group in Canberra, we’re standing for common sense: sensible policies, an end to mass migration, and a return to freedom, opportunity, and prosperity. Every time you raise the flag, you’re one step closer to restoring this nation. God bless Australia. Happy Friday. 🇦🇺 Australian Lobby Group Australia Marches 🇦🇺 Australia's sons

.GreenVersity #WoSFL Fourth Division Side Newmains United Community FC new goalkeeper Ben McAllister had a dream debut for the Dallies today as he saved a penalty from Giffnock SC WOSFL in the 32nd minute with the scores locked at 0-0, he then watched his side run out 0-3 winners, and to top it off was voted as player of the match with a clean sheet. Ben joined Newmains from Saturday morning team River Nevis, but rather than stopping goals, he was banging them in for the amateur side where he finished the season on 21 goals, winning their top scorer award for the second season in a row as a forward!. What a debut at the other end for the Dallies!

Women in one of the top football leagues in Sydney, Australia, have been banned from protesting against a “trans-inclusive” team that has been known to have up to 5 male players. Trans-identified male athletes on The Flying Bats FC have repeatedly injured female players. In 2022, The Flying Bats FC was presented with a Fair Play award, the same year that a female player had her leg broken in two places by a male player for their team. She was "screaming in pain". Her teammate was penalized for "transphobia" because she was upset about it.

Core steps its block reward down every year instead of halving it Core DAO 🔶 caps coredaoorg:native at 2.1 billion tokens, a figure its documentation describes as exactly 100 times Bitcoin's 21 million. New supply enters through block rewards, the tokens paid to the validators producing each block, spread across an 81-year schedule per Core's whitepaper. Rather than cutting the reward in half every four years the way Bitcoin does, Core steps its emission rate down at every 10,512,000th block. At the network's roughly three-second block time, that lands about once a year. Each step is far smaller than a Bitcoin halving but is more frequent, with the schedule running until the full 2.1 billion cap is distributed.

“Our Word Means Something”? What a Sick Joke. I had to physically restrain myself from hurling something at the TV the moment I heard that smirking, weasel Albanese declare, “Our word means something.” This coming from a pathological liar whose word means absolutely nothing — a man who won’t tell the truth if it slapped him across the face, and who’ll spit out any filthy lie if he thinks it’ll buy him one extra vote. And let’s never forget exactly why we’re in this shameful mess. We signed the IEA agreement and our politicians gave Australia’s solemn word to keep a minimum 90 days of petrol and diesel reserves. Shamefully, Australia is the only nation on Earth that has arrogantly broken its word and completely ignored this obligation. And now Albanese is up in Singapore begging that Australia be forgiven for breaking its word. No one — and I mean no one — is more directly responsible for Australia breaking its word than Anthony Albanese. For six long years as Infrastructure and Transport Minister under the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd circus, and nearly four years as Prime Minister, he has contemptuously thumbed his nose at the promise Australia made to the world. No wonder we was smirking as he lied through his teeth yet again. Every single time this man opens his mouth, a torrent of lies, spin, and pure dishonesty comes gushing out like raw sewage. Listening to him makes you want to vomit.

Vorflux has opened its new cloud platform, allowing users to run tasks from a plan to a merged PR on a dedicated machine. It can plan, build, test, and review on its own. > Diff reviews are done by a different model family than the one that wrote it by default. > First boot is saved as a snapshot, with all subsequent sessions waking up from that same starting point. > A browser agent walks through the real user flow, and the recording is included in the pull request. Video proof in the PR 👀

Prompt : A realistic cinematic scene opens on an empty two-lane highway cutting through the Patagonian steppe at 2 AM. Nothing but flat dark grassland in every direction, wind bending everything sideways. A lone overnight bus barrels down the road, its headlights the only light source for miles. The camera chases it from behind, catches up, climbs the rear bumper and slides through the tinted back window. Inside, most passengers are asleep under blankets. In the second-to-last row, a woman sits awake, knitting something shapeless with thick red yarn. The camera drifts forward through the length of the dark bus, past rows of sleeping strangers, through the windshield and out into the Patagonian night , pulling up and away until the bus is just a single pair of headlights crawling across an endless black canvas under a sky choked with stars.

All eyes on SILVIA SALIS 👀🇮🇹 At a delicate moment, with Giorgia Meloni facing both domestic and international tensions, Italy is increasingly buzzing about the mayor of Genoa: Silvia Salis In recent weeks, Salis has been swept up in a wave of media attention, drawing both enthusiastic supporters and fierce critics Some describe her as the most “perfect product” the left has created in decades Tall, blonde, athletic, a former Olympian, a mother, married to a film director No strong regional accent, constantly present, tireless She may not be a political theorist, but she’s cutting through every modern communication channel—starting with social media And above all, she comes across as genuinely close to the people Many portray her as the ultimate anti-Meloni: a version of the left that doesn’t quite “feel” like the traditional left, thanks to her polished, almost statesmanlike allure It’s hard to predict where this will lead But one thing is clear: the left is warming up its engines to push back against the right’s advance—and the rise of the feared Colonel Roberto Vannacci And the game has only just begun

By day, it looks like any other mushroom. But once the sun sets, Omphalotus nidiformis,—also known as the ghost fungus–illuminates. Native to Australia, this bioluminescent mushroom emits a beautiful green glow that can light up the forest floor. The glow comes from an enzyme called luciferase, the same chemical reaction seen in fireflies. It’s believed the ghost fungus uses this light to attract insects, helping it spread its spores after dark. 📹: Australian Geographic and Filippo Rivetti

The idea that changing the date will lead us to any more ‘unity’ is hilarious. They spent Australia Day saying ‘abolish Australia’ and the days before it destroying ANZAC monuments and burning the flag. This guy’s petulance against his fellow Whites for not agreeing with him shows he’s absolutely out of the loop on what animates either side of the debate. The ‘indigenous’ side of the debate is not principally concerned with the date but rather Australia’s existence. Whatever unity you think there is to be had if we just change this date exists only in imagination. I don’t care if you can find like 1 Indigenous person in a comment section saying they support Australia Day and strong borders or whatever, the exception proves the rule; take a gander at any of their peak representation, and all you will find is rabid anti-Whitism. That’s what matters, not the single individual who has zero authority. Remember the voice, see the state treaties, see the land grants - they are literally stealing the country from you and you just disarm your own side talking about ‘unity’. Yeah calling for unity feels good, wanting everyone to chillax and it all be kumbaya is a comfortable position but it's the position that enables all sorts of evils to be continuously committed against us. Stop being defensive and start being offensive before there is no country left to defend.

I want to go over last night’s doozy in San Francisco because there is A LOT of confusion about it. In a 6-6 tie between the visiting Los Angeles Angels and the home and batting SFGiants with Jesus Rodriguez on third, Luis Arraez on second, and Bymryce Eldridge on first, Rafael Devers hit what is normally a ground rule double. In-game, this was scored as a ground rule double and the final score was determined by the scorer to be 8-6. The issue is there is a rule for this exact situation, which is rule 9.06 (f) “(f) Subject to the provisions of Rule 9.06(g), when a batter ends a game with a safe hit that drives in as many runs as are necessary to put his team in the lead, the Official Scorer shall credit such batter with only as many bases on his hit as are advanced by the runner who scores the winning run, and then only if the batter runs out his hit for as many bases as are advanced by the runner who scores the winning run. Rule 9.06(f) Comment: The Official Scorer shall apply this rule even when the batter is theoretically entitled to more bases because of being awarded an “automatic” extra-base hit under various provisions of Rules 5.05 and 5.06(b)(4).” It’s the comment that is the key element. Even though this is normally an extra base hit for two bases, since the winning run was on third base, he only needed one base to score, so the batter, Devers, by rule can only be credited with one base. I believe support got involved very quickly, because within 10 minutes of me posting about this mistake, the score was adjusted to 7-6, and Devers was credited with a single. Now, Arraez never touched home anyway, but that doesn’t matter as even if he did, by rule, his run wouldn’t have mattered, as the score was 7-6 regardless. I have seen some folks saying the Los Angeles Angels appealed Arraez not touching home and that’s why the score was adjusted. I can confirm that this didn’t happen. Elias Sports Bureau and support got this fixed very quickly. (1/2) #RepTheHalo #SFGiants
