The film doesn’t lie. His big plays were realllly good, but there are 15 other targets like these that just make you scratch your head. I wouldn’t be shocked if he has more fun playing with Fields. I think we can all agree Xavi Simons is an exciting talent, but I don’t think I realised just how one-footed (right) he is. I’ve hardly ever seen him use his left, hence the reason here he did the Rabona and lost possession rather than using his left foot and playing in Cuti. Having been a top rising teenage star at FC Barcelona's world-famous La Masia academy from a young age, joining at 11 and leaving the club for free in 2019 at age 16, I’m surprised they didn’t make him use his left foot more.
