This is disgusting, The US is importing foreign low quality beef to sell to Americans while exporting the highest quality beef we produce to foreign countries “The US this year has imported more beef than we ever have before. What's crazy about this is what we're actually exporting more beef out than we ever have before as well.” “Now the crooked thing about this is that we're exporting out our high quality cattle for the highest price, but we're importing lesser quality cattle for a cheap price. But then they're also marking it up in the grocery stores to make maximum profits off of these animals. So if you guys are going to the grocery store, you might be paying the top dollar for a lesser quality product”

It’s honestly embarrassing to be Canadian today. Gregor Robinson claimed the Liberals are making life more affordable while Conservatives are making life more expensive. The Liberals have been in power for over a decade. Housing costs exploded. Rent exploded. Food prices exploded. Debt exploded. If life is unaffordable, who exactly does he think Canadians blame?

Prior to WWII, the USA produced more lamb in our country than we could consume - we were an exporter of lamb. Today, we import over 80% of the lamb consumed. Beef imports grew 24% in 2024 as compared to 2023. Beef prices remain at record highs, while the cattle population remains at record lows. The United States of America is now importing more beef than we are exporting. We fear the same that is currently true for lamb imports/exports will soon be the reality for beef. Food Security should have the support and attention from both sides of the isle. If we cannot feed our people, what else can we do?
