Life as a working woman is much harder than I expected. It’s extremely hot today, I’m soaked in sweat, and I still have so much work left to do. This video will forever mean so much to me. When I was flying to Zanzibar to shoot it, that same week I found out I was pregnant. I was overwhelmed with so many emotions, but I had to keep it all in, smile, show up, and make sure no one noticed. I had a job to do. I remember having quiet conversations with myself, trying to process everything while still pushing through the shoot. I was there physically, but mentally, I was somewhere else.
