Is it just me or has the quality of life deteriorated greatly after the 1990's? I just miss the way things were in the 1990s, especially the music, movies, TV shows, clothing and creativity, I also feel restaurants had better service and quality of meals then than now, plus living in a house/apartment was very affordable for the middle class.

The 80s and 90s weren't that glamorous to everyone. Broken homes and abusive families. I grew up in that type of living. Alcoholism and drug addicts all around. Late 90s and early 2000s had neglectful parents in rich areas where those kids ended up on opioids
