Plan and control what you can..refuse to be nihilistic. Remember that most things happen as planned, accidents are fewer than you think. Life is absolutely mostly predictable with fewer unpredictable eventualities than you think or imagine. Over-plan, over-execute.

Avoid this mindset! Do your best and every small positive or forward step will ultimately land you where you want to be or near your desired end goal. No guarantees doesn't mean you put no effort. Just try consistently and know that it won't always work out but it adds up!
