A shiver runs down my spine when I recall the days I used to do the same in Mumbai local. Mumbaikars have been the most neglected lot. They got nothing beyond 9 dabba and 12 dabba. Metro running now should have come 30 years ago. More coastal roads needed especially for suburbs.

TBH, Mumbai deserves much much better. All locals should be made AC with doors able to close. Change start/end of office time per zones. Platform entry as per metro checks. Outstation trains at multiple stations. I recently visited Mumbai & felt like another insect in sewer.
