Agreed.

100% agreed. You have let’s say 65-100 years on this planet, many of which will massively suck in the moment. There’s going to be a lot of dying people, taxes, laundry, and other annoyances. Give yourself a dream and purpose and work towards it. You’re going to suffer in any case.

Didn't you once say "'what is the meaning of life?' is a wrong question"? - and the right question being "where can I find the meaning of life?" It is rare for me to encounter something fundamentally meaningful these days, but the above was one of such rare encounters.

Clips like this are so inspiring! My generation could use more lofty ambitions to combat the meaninglessness a lot of us struggle with.

The Only way to edge forward and have an Aegis/Shield against suffering is to have God as the Author of Your life. The chaos, the fraying of potentiality and the mind numbing suffering requires the Authorship of His Divine Hand—And Jesus Christ as there in Your Heart and at the Center of Your Life. Amen, thanks Professor Peterson; Your message is so powerful!

Choose ambition. Choose to be ethical. Choose to work hard. Choose to be diligent. Choose to be persistent. Choose to be successful. Yes, choose to set lofty goals🌟🇺🇸 Choose to become the best version of you 🌟🇺🇸 Will it be easy? Probably not. Satisfying and rewarding? Absolutely! 🌟🇺🇸

Setting your lofty ambitions too high is more often the cause of misery. Finding contentment in reachable goals & sustainable development, has been my secret for happiness as the saying goes "it does not matter how slow u go, as long as u don't stop" Never stop improving self

Those closest to God suffer intolerable loneliness

Unless you thrive on meaningless things.

Having a purposeful goal does help, but sometimes it just doesn't matter, because often the challenges and failures are just too many and reaching the proposed goal seems impossible. This results in learned helplessness and depression. Still, the alternative of not trying is worse
