It took him a little bit to kind of pick that up, but we so believed in him as a guy and his talent level that after a year, you could start to see it clicking. I remember when I was young, around 10-11 years old. My parents were both asleep as was my brother. I heard a knock on the back door which was weird because who uses the back door at a stranger’s house? The kitchen window was close by so I take a look. It looked like a teenager but hard to tell because they had a hoodie with the hood up. I didn’t open the door but I did crack the window and asked them what they wanted. They replied they were lost and wanted to come in to warm up and use the phone. Even when it’s daylight I know never to let anybody in period that I didn’t know, but a stranger after midnight was weird enough. I said no because I didn’t know them. Then they said that hey knew my dad and that’s why he came by. I said that’s fine and all but I’m not letting you use our phone. This was before cellphones were widely used, we had a landline like most people. The person wouldn’t take no for an answer and I could sense he was getting angry. I went and woke up my dad, I told him there was somebody at the back door and that he said they knew him. He walked to the door and looked out and said he didn’t know him. But he did talk through the door and told him that he was calling the police and that he should just leave. The person just stood there until the police finally came and even they asked him what he was doing knocking on the door at that hour. He told them he was lost and thought this was a house of a family friend. The police told him my dad didn’t know him and made him leave. So was this a case of wrong house or was he up to something. eric's reason for choosing to perform on the last day of inter-zection concert : 🤍 during his hiatus back in 2022, when he was in US, he started crying as soon as he saw the members doing the thebzone encore. he told his mom that he wanted to perform on stage too.... and after the concert on saturday, that moment came back to him, he thought about how he didn't know when he would get to perform stages like that again, especially for checkmate. he thought sunday could possibly be his last time performing it. because he had already gone through that experience once in 2022, he felt that was enough and didn't want to go through it a second time so that's why he decided he had to perform on sunday no matter what. and thankfully, everything went well and even better than he had worried about. so for the next few days, he'll focus on recovery, and he'll be going to the hospital again today for treatment, so there's no need to worry.

This neighborhood has an older German Shepherd who was known to roam the neighborhood. He disappeared for awhile until he showed up at this man’s house. “You came back, where were you?" Probably the first time he felt like someone cared. He had a bad open wound on him. This man took him in, fed him, sheltered him, and took him to the vet who cared for his wound. He even posted pictures of him on social media trying to find his owner. No luck. So, he kept him and has given him care, shelter and a fighting chance and most importantly, a love. ❤️ You are a hero sir. Thank for giving him a home. Would you take a stray dog in like this if he showed up at your house ? I would!

“EVERYONE. This man came into my yard a couple of hours ago and offered to cut my grass for a certain price. I didn’t have enough money today to afford that on top of everything else, and I told him to come back in a week. A few minutes ago, I heard a loud noise outside of my house. I opened the door and noticed that he was cutting my grass. I went running out to him and yelled for him to stop... he shook his head no. He told me that he saw my kids playing in the yard and was worried about snakes being in the grass and biting them because the grass was too tall. I again told him to stop because I couldn’t pay him. He said that he didn’t need to be paid, he had grandchildren, and that he hoped someone would look after them in the same way. I was brought to tears. I hugged him. We talked about different struggles we’ve had in life, and he told me that this is what the news doesn’t report. He told me the news doesn’t report the black neighbor helping out the white neighbor because it isn’t good for the network to make money. I told him that he has a good heart. I told him I wish more people on earth were like him. We hugged again. He is still outside cutting my grass, and it’s dark now. I am so grateful to have him as a new friend. His name is Johnny, and he lives in Taylors, South Carolina. He cut my grass for free tonight because he was worried about my children playing outside in the tall grass.
