Should be DAILY in every part of Dublin. The walk for tourists from Aston quay to Guinness on the Southside is appalling. Merchants quay (junkie central) & Ushers quay are ALWAYS absolutely filthy. 😢 🌎

Happens all over Europe. Best I’ve seen was Seville. Under ground bins all emptied during night. Streets hosed down. Shopkeepers out really early cleaning their windows. Sweeping in front of door. Real sense of pride and community.

This should NOT be a big deal, this is just one of the many jobs Dublin CC is there to do. What would be a big deal is Dublin CC actually doing something about the shocking numbers of derelict buildings throughout the city!

Most countries do this on a weekly basis. DCC finally start power washing streets for the forst time in its existence and wants praise. This is the bare minimum tax payers expect.
