I can't agree more. Like you said, you get better results with form

For real I didn't watch my form during a shoulder press earlier this month just stacking on the weight and I jacked my shoulder up so bad it took my dumb ass out for a week. I was lucky

Vanity is for once you've put the bar down. Adding weights to look better while lifting is a great way to make sure you can't lift for a month or two. If you're lucky.

I know I hit a plateau personally when I tried to just lift with raw power, which isn't an issue. I can lift with power. Technique is my weakness and since doing that, with an Olympic style gym, program, and coach, I have seen new prs and heights the last few months.
