Saunas Can Reduce Food Intake?! – New Insights from Nature 🔥🧠 (2 min science breakdown clip) It’s been observed that heat exposure reduces food intake both in humans and animals, leading some to suggest heat stress may be a weight management tool. And new science is beginning to unpack how heat may suppress appetite. Get ready for a steam burst of jargon, then I’ll simplify: A 2024 paper published in nature (PMID: 38538787) found that heat 🔥activates specialized cells that line the fluid-filled spaces in the brain called, “tanycytes.” 🎯These tanycytes are optimally placed to communicate external signals to regions of the brain, in particular the hypothalamus, that control things like metabolism and food intake. 🔥This study found that heat stress in a mouse model at 40°C for 1 hour increased activity in a temperature sensing brain region, the “pontine parabrachial nucleus (PBN)” 👉which signals to tanycytes and causes them to 👉produce a brain chemical VEGFA, which in turn 👉 signals to the hypothalamus to change the activity of dopamine and AGRP neurons and leads to reduce food intake. (Please see clip for a visual explanation) 🚨High-Level Takeaway: The researchers discovered a causal mechanism for the effects of heat on reducing food intake, and aligns with data in humans that heat can reduce food intake. More details about sauna in today’s #StayCurious Newsletter (linked in first reply), including discussion of heart health, brain health, longevity, and with a healthy shoutout to Dr. Rhonda Patrick (who I suspect might be interested in this Tanycytes Mechanism, if it's not already on her radar) Some folks interesting in Sauna and/or Neuroscience Mechanisms: Dan Go Gary Brecka Andrew D. How does an embryo reliably "compute" its form - "cell by cell" - using only local interactions and mechanics, yet produce a precise global body plan? I’m excited to share our Nature Methods paper "MultiCell: geometric learning in multicellular development", presenting #AIxBiology research led by Haiqian Yang and the result of a great collaboration with Ming Guo, George Roy, Tomer Stern, Anh Nguyen and Dapeng Bi. A long-standing challenge in developmental biology is to predict how thousands of cells collectively self-organize as tissues fold, divide, and rearrange. In MultiCell, we represent a developing embryo as a dual graph that unifies two complementary views of tissue mechanics with single-cell resolution: cells as moving points (granular) and cells as a connected foam (junction network). This lets the model learn dynamics from both geometry and cell–cell connectivity. On whole-embryo 4D light-sheet movies of Drosophila gastrulation (~5,000 cells), our model predicts key cell behaviors and the timing of events, including junction loss, rearrangements, and divisions with high accuracy, at single-cell resolution. Beyond prediction, the same representation supports robust time alignment across embryos and offers interpretable activation maps that highlight the morphogenetic "drivers" of development. The broader goal is a foundation for cell-by-cell forecasting in more complex tissues, and eventually for detecting subtle dynamical signatures of disease. Kudos to the team for this inspiring collaboration with brilliant researchers to push the boundary of AI for biology! Citation: Yang, H., Roy, G., Nguyen, A.Q., Buehler, M.J., et al. Senator Ron Johnson just took three minutes to EXPOSE in stunning detail the vast government conspiracy to cover up Covid vaccine reactions. He called out the mainstream media for REFUSING to report on it while the CIA whistleblower listened intently. JOHNSON: “This is what we uncovered, this is what is now being covered up by the legacy media.” “On March 1st of 2021, Dr. Peter Marks, head of the CBER — organization at the FDA that approves vaccines and also supposed to surveil those vaccines post-market for safety — was given a multi-page briefing by the main data mining analysts within FDA working with the inventor of the algorithm they used to analyze the VAERS, the vaccine adverse event reporting system.” “That briefing told Dr. Marks that the current algorithm because of the nature of the massive number of claims coming into VAERS. From 1990 until 2020 on average 280 deaths were reported in VAERS associated with vaccine. 2021 it was over 21,000. Nothing to see here.” “26 days later a new state-of-the-art algorithm developed by the inventor of the original algorithm was presented to senior FDA officials showing 49 cases of extreme masking, 25 safety signals, including sudden cardiac death, pulmonary infarction, Bell’s Palsy, different types of strokes.” “Month after month after month they continued to do this data mining, they continued to show additional safety signals.” “Did Peter Marks, did Anthony Fauci, did President Biden go to the American public and say hang on here, we’ve got some data, we’ve got some concerns? No! No! They blamed the unvaccinated for continuing the pandemic. This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated. We need to mandate this.” “This is what government does and what the deep state does... I need the mainstream media, CBS, ABC, CNN, to step forward and start covering what is a MAJOR scandal!” “How many thousands, tens, hundreds of thousands of people are permanently disabled or possibly lost their life because our FDA hid the fact that there were safety signals SCREAMING at them with the covid injection?” The FDA literally hid safety signals that were screaming at them.

"Optogenetic CRISPR Technology Is Being Used All Over The World To Alter Neurons & Halt Heart Rhythms." Dr Lee Merritt, MD "We've Seen These Opsins Moments In South Korea, Australia, Israel, China, Everywhere." "Concert Entry Required Vaccination, Then The Light Flashes Began." From the dawn of history to modern times, humans have been using knowledge of neural structures to alter behavior. In modern times brain stimulation experiments have been conducted on animals & humans to control the mind. A new technology in neural engineering known as optogenetics uses CRISPR Cas-9 to genetically modify human neurons to express photosensitive opsins & thus fire when stimulated by certain light wavelengths. Optogenetics possesses greater spatial & temporal control of brain activity than current technologies like transcranial magnetic stimulation or psychopharmacological drugs. The ethics of potential side effects, invasiveness & abuse should be taken into consideration. Optogenetics uses CRISPR Cas-9 to genetically modify human neurons to fire when stimulated by light alone. Optogenetics provides a level of understanding & control over the human brain yet unparalleled in neuroengineering. Cardiac Optogenetics uses the same technology but instead of controlling neuronal or altering behavior...the Opsins moments control heart function. 2020 marks a decade of developments in cardiac optogenetics since this technology was adopted from neuroscience & applied to the heart. This reeks of the historic CIA project MKULTRA, composed of 149 subprojects, a massive covert study that used various methods of behavioral manipulation on the American People. Beginning in 1953 & revealed to the public in 1975, project MKULTRA used LSD, chemically-induced comas lasting as long as 60 days, dangerous levels of electroshock therapy, pharmacological paralysis & psychic driving (a combination of drugs and tape-recordings) to control the human mind. Many of these experiments were conducted without the participants’ knowledge or consent. 👇Ethics Surrounding Optogenetics👇 👇A Decade Of Cardiac Optogenetics👇 👇Heart Tissue & Optogenetics👇 Speaker: Dr Lee Merritt, MD Video: WR

I was really impressed by the UMI gripper (Cheng Chi et al.), but a key limitation is that **force-related data wasn’t captured**: humans feel haptic feedback through the mechanical springs, but the robot couldn’t leverage that info, limiting the data’s value for fine-grained manipulation tasks. Led by my amazing students Yolanda Zhu and Binghao Huang, we designed a **portable visuo-tactile gripper** by integrating our dense, flexible tactile arrays with the UMI gripper to enable large-scale in-the-wild data collection. 🔗 We demonstrate **cross-modal representation learning** and **downstream policy learning** on tasks requiring in-hand state estimation (e.g., test tube reorientation) and fine-grained force sensing (e.g., pipette fluid transfer). Key takeaways: - Our flexible tactile arrays store the rich haptic information humans perceive as dense tactile signals. - Portability and robustness are key for in-the-wild data collection; our portable gripper is compact, lightweight, and durable. - Touch provides precise, robust measurements of in-hand object pose, invariant to lighting and viewpoint. - Cross-modal pretraining on large-scale in-the-wild data significantly improves policy robustness and sample efficiency (as shown many times before — and verified again here!). Also check out our previous investigations of dense, flexible tactile grids for understanding human-robot-environment interactions: - Dense tactile glove (Nature ’19): - 3D-ViTac (CoRL ’24):

Footage of joint Russian-Iranian drills just two weeks ago, February 19, 2026. When Iran turned to Putin for help, it was refused, even though Russia called Iran an important ally and signed a strategic partnership agreement with it a year ago. Russia used Iran as a tool to put pressure on the West and destabilize the region: ◾️ Iran supplied Russia with thousands of Shahed-136 attack drones and technology for their production on Russian territory under the name "Geran-2." ◾️ Iran supplied Russia with short-range ballistic missiles. The total value of contracts for the supply of missiles and drones at the beginning of 2023 was estimated at $1.75-3 billion. ◾️ In return, Russia supplied its own weapons to Iran, including air defense systems and aircraft, which, as we can see, did not help Tehran. ◾️ Russia helped Iran develop its nuclear program to increase instability in the region and strengthen the "anti-Western coalition." ◾️ Using its influence, Russia maintained its military bases in Syria and shared military expenses with Tehran. ◾️ Iran, which has been under sanctions for decades, helped Russia circumvent sanctions: the development of the North-South Transport Corridor through Iran allowed Russia to export goods bypassing European ports. ◾️ Iran helped Russia master methods of covert financial transactions and parallel imports. Russia's main objective now is destabilization in the region, prolonging the war, driving up oil prices, and diverting financial and military aid away from Ukraine. ‼️ It is likely that Russians helped Iran develop a plan for strikes against the Persian Gulf countries. It is only natural that Ukrainians are now being asked for help in defending against Iranian drones. Ukraine has unique experience in countering Shahed drones. And Ukraine knows very well what Russia is like, what methods it uses, and what its goals are. What finally needs to be understood about Russia is that it has never been a reliable partner! Its partnership is rhetorical. Russia pursues exclusively its own interests, setting up, deceiving, and abandoning its so-called allies and violating the terms of agreements and deals. Syria, Venezuela, and Iran are vivid examples of this. 📹: Russia-Iran drills/Radio Liberty

AIDAN KEARNEY CRASHES OUT DURING HIS REVISIONIST HISTORY: TRUTH VS FICTION Last night, Aidan Kearney had a complete meltdown when the topic of his treatment of the O'Keefes came up. FICTION: Kearney claims the O'Keefes tried to send him to jail over hurt feelings. TRUTH: For months starting in May of 2023, Kearney regularly attacked the O'Keefes on his live show and in articles at the behest of Karen Read. Karen had told Kearney "John's family sucks" and "we don't sit with stupid", green lighting the attacks on them. Repeatedly he called Peggie O'Keefe a c#nt, John's friends and family "maggots" who should "burn in hell", and refused to take down leaked autopsy photos of John when Paul asked because they were upsetting to John's niece and nephew who John had been raising. Those who loved John were forced to walk through a hostile mob of Read and Kearney followers when they would attend pretrial hearings in John's case. Through actions entirely of his own accord, Kearney was the subject of a restraining order in 2024. The O'Keefes and friends attended a hearing early that year. With them was Lindsey Gaetani who was the person who had pursued the restraining order. Kearney was forced to leave the hearing or face the consequences of violating the order. It was entirely on Kearney and his own actions whether or not he 1. violated the order and 2. whether or not those actions would send him to jail yet again. To the left is him spiraling out of control and to the right, a video in support of the witnesses from Testify, the organization created to support the witnesses. In the beginning of that video you can view the family walking through the angry, verbally abusive crowd on the very day Kearney claims Paul was trying to put him in jail. Visit for more information on Kearney and his followers abuse. Special thanks to Earl “Pink Crying Lady” Grey for asking Kearney the question about his abuse💗

Paranoid man mocked for hunting a spy device in his home. No one believed the government could plant bugs in people’s apartments. A month later, his device found a bug in every mocker’s house. He started selling it and made $255k as everyone rushed to check their own homes. Here's how he made this technology using only Claude: The device is called an RF bug detector. Hidden cameras, microphones, and GPS trackers all leak radio signals when they transmit. This scanner picks up those signals and shows you exactly where they are coming from. The whole build costs around $25 in parts and runs on a small rechargeable battery. You need 4 things. - ESP32 development board - AD8317 RF detector module (the part that senses the signal) - A small OLED screen - A LiPo battery and charging board 1. Wire the AD8317 module to the ESP32 analog input, then connect the OLED screen to the I2C pins, which takes about ten minutes on a breadboard. 2. Plug the ESP32 into your computer with a USB cable. 3. Open Claude Code and paste this prompt: { Write me ESP32 firmware for an RF bug detector. Hardware: - AD8317 logarithmic RF detector on analog pin 34 - SSD1306 OLED screen on I2C pins 21 and 22 - LiPo battery powered Requirements: 1. Read the AD8317 voltage 20 times per second. 2. Convert the voltage into a signal strength value in dBm. 3. Show a live bar graph on the OLED that rises as signal gets stronger. 4. Play a beep through a buzzer on pin 25 that speeds up as the signal increases, so I can sweep a room and home in on the source. 5. Add a calibration button on pin 4 that sets the current room level as the baseline, so only stronger signals trigger alerts. Output one complete Arduino sketch with comments so I can tune the sensitivity. } 4. Flash the firmware to the ESP32 straight from the Arduino IDE. 5. Walk slowly around any room holding the device, and watch the bar graph climb as you get closer to a hidden transmitter. 6. Once it works, drop the whole thing into a 3D-printed handheld case so it looks like a finished product. The man in the hook sweeps a room in under two minutes. The beep speeds up as he gets closer, so he can pinpoint a bug hidden inside a smoke detector, a plug, or a lamp. His parts cost around $25 per unit. He sells the finished detector for $129 to renters, travelers, and Airbnb guests who want to check their space. The market is everyone who ever walked into a hotel room and wondered if someone was watching.

A Secondary school graduate from Katsina State, Nigeria Design world challenging Vehicle (Bullet Proof Electric Vehicle). “Once we are successful to complete this Car (Bullet Proof Electric Vehicle) it will be the most strongest Car ever in the world to deliver up to 4,000 horsepower.” Al-Amin Sabitu. In case you don't understand Hausa, this is a summary of an exclusive interview with an Automotive Designer called Al-Amin Sabitu from Katsina Nigeria🇳🇬 ☑️ We have partner with a company in China to deliver this project to come to live. ☑️ This Car (Bullet Proof Electric Vehicle) it will be the most strongest Car ever in the world, it will deliver up to 4,000 horsepower and the Battery range is up to 2000kwh. ☑️ A normal car delivers 800 horsepower but this Bullet Proof Electric Vehicle will be times 5 to make it 4,000 horsepower. Presently there is no any car in the world that has this capacity, this is the first of it kind. ☑️ He draw different type of cars which includes SUVs, Sedans, Pickup, Armor Vehicle and so on. ☑️ As it is there is no any Car that we design that comes to reality but we keep in touch with a Chinese company to partner with us to make the Amazing car comes to reality. ☑️ In our reach within the Nation we were able to contact Proforce Limited that produce high quality Armoured Bullet Proof vehicles, we are yet to get a positive feedback from them. ☑️ Drawing of Vehicle has been my hobby since when i was a kid, i developed interest in it and today this is where we find ourselves. ☑️ For you to become a Car designer, it requires regular sketch work, right from straight lines to a perfect circle ⭕ and curves without using any object. For you to be a successful Car Designer you need patience and dedication for a period of 4-5years of nonstop practice. ☑️ There is what we called “Perspective Drawings”, once you develop that, you are qualified to start car drawing. Now with the advancement of Artificial Intelligence AI, once you are done with sketching AI software will render the remaining designs. ☑️ Here is Nigeria we don't have a program that teach Car Design. In most of the Engineering courses attended, we only deals with design of buildings and so on. ☑️ Right now am a graduate of Secondary school, my family are very supportive to make my dream comes through, but for now am Soliciting for Sponsorship to engage in a full career of Car Design program outside Nigeria. What is hydroponic marijuana, and why are seizures rising at Hyderabad airport? The seizure of 10 kg of hydroponic marijuana worth ₹3.5 crore at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Thursday is part of a growing pattern that enforcement agencies are increasingly tracking across Indian airports, particularly on routes linked to Bangkok and other Southeast Asian hubs. Unlike conventional cannabis grown in soil, hydroponic marijuana, often called “hydro weed” , is cultivated indoors using water-based nutrient solutions under controlled conditions such as artificial lighting, regulated humidity, temperature and nutrient flow. The method allows growers to control the plant cycle with precision and often produce higher-grade cannabis with elevated tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) levels, the psychoactive component responsible for the “high.” Officials say this premium-grade marijuana has become popular in urban party circuits because of its potency and appearance. Hydroponic marijuana can contain THC levels of 30% to 40%, compared to about 3% to 4% in conventional cannabis. However, scientific literature shows potency can vary depending on strain, cultivation conditions and processing methods. Bangkok route under scanner A common thread in recent seizures across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Nagpur, Lucknow and Trichy airports has been passengers arriving from Bangkok or other Southeast Asian transit points carrying hydroponic cannabis concealed in check-in baggage. At Hyderabad’s RGIA itself, customs and DRI officials have reported multiple high-value seizures in recent months. In February this year, over 27 kg of hydroponic ganja worth ₹9.5 crore was seized from passengers arriving from Bangkok, with investigators suspecting organised international trafficking links. Investigators believe traffickers prefer hydroponic marijuana because it fetches far higher prices in the illegal market while smaller quantities generate substantial profits. The drug is typically vacuum-packed or concealed inside false compartments, decorative items, food containers or layers of clothing to evade detection. Why Hyderabad is seeing more cases Officials tracking narcotics trafficking say Hyderabad has emerged as a significant destination and transit point because of rising demand for high-grade synthetic and imported narcotics among affluent urban consumers and party networks. International connectivity through RGIA and frequent passenger movement on Southeast Asian routes have also drawn the attention of smuggling syndicates. Recent interceptions suggest that smugglers are increasingly using individual passengers as “mules,” carrying relatively smaller but high-value consignments concealed in check-in baggage. Enforcement agencies have consequently stepped up profiling, APIS-based passenger analysis and baggage surveillance on flights arriving from Thailand and neighbouring countries. Customs officials said the latest case is under further investigation, with focus on concealment methods and the intended distribution network. #Hyderabad #SayNoToDrugs #RGIA #Customs
