You need to open a channel and fund it in order to receive anything on LN. It's a train wreck.

Base-layer ATM’s taking 30+ minutes with large fees. I’d say this is an insane improvement.

@JeThoreau Why does the machine not generate a QR code you can simply scan to receive? Much easier UI.

Bitcoin is supposed to be peer to peer. Not peer to custodial wallet to peer. This is just shifting trust from banks to new companies that can still control your sats. Be your own bank!
