Lighting? Or did someone intentionally poison that herd?

When I was a kid, I remember several cows were killed while standing under a tree. Lightning struck the tree and killed the cows. I never stood under a tree during a storm again.

I don’t believe it, never seen anything like that before I was raised on a farm in Nebraska had horrible lighting storms never once seen that

BULLSHIT!! I dont believe that for a second

That sucks. Hopefully they can harvest the meat. Such events are not uncommon, with historical precedents like the 2023 Cullman County, Alabama, incident where 31 cows were killed, and a 2021 report noting that lightning strikes are a frequent cause of cattle deaths during summer storms, often leading to instantaneous death and specific physical signs like rigor mortis and rumen distension.

Does that happen? I don't know, it just seems like something is off. @njoyzgrl81 You ever see stuff like this?

😡not me thinking since they can control the weather did they do this or was it nature 💔

Damn that sucks. Is is possible to at least harvest them all before the meat goes bad?

I don't see any evidence of an electrical discharge. The ground would show where currents reached for negative charge leaving scars.

I didn't want to see this 💔😔
