I wish they would put more "investment" into acquiring better refs.

hey have you heard anything like this before

Its a societal issue. its not inherently a Twitter/X problem or an Instagram problem, its an Earth problem. You can’t control what people say - people say a lot of horrible things. It is naive as hell to think they can fix that. Good luck — maybe start with preschool

DeMita: "I actually think NBA Twitter is so much fun because people don't take things too seriously." I take it you haven't spent any time on Spurs Twitter, which is filled with clowns who overreact, personally attack, and block each other unnecessarily.

It is mostly face recognition software. They use it at Madison Square Garden in NY . They were sued when people were not permitted in arena. Example, a lawyer suing the owner. Hopefully they know to use properly.

I agree with everything you said. We have to remember they are new to all of this and as a result there's going to be a lot of trial and error. I just hope they grow and learn from their mistakes. Using AI to monitor social media is clearly too high of a mountain

That seems ludicrous. People will do crap to just entice them, however I agree with the sentiment as a mom to a 22yo daughter. People are so mean on social. I tell myself would I like if someone said that about my girl before I post. But for real, when we can be anything, be kind

As long as Activists player get nothing done to them and there cry baby fans it will happen again. I hate to harp on it but it has no place in sports.

Instead of using a buzz word like "AI", they should've focused on the outcome of the new technology/process. Like cool, you have some new tech to detect stuff, but what will you do with it?

They went full commie 🤦♂️

I hope that AI will tell the WNBA that a majority of fans are NOT HAPPY with biased ref calls.
