In this world, no one works for anyone else for free. If someone claims to be working for free, there is invariably an underlying reason for it. The reward need not necessarily be in the form of money.. It could also come in the form of time, patience, or success.

Unpaid work still has a price usually paid by the person doing it. Experience doesn’t cover rent.

Experience is a terrible currency. Try handing your landlord a resume next month and see how impressed they are.

In modern day unpaid internships are for the most part illegal. They can still exist but the company has to be able to prove that you get more out of the internship than they do, so it’d be a crappy internship AND unpaid, lmao.
