Nah, Sun and Moon game version of her was better. Let a villain be a villain. I mean, this was a woman who was belittling her children BEFORE she was being mind-controlled; she was straight-up cold-blooded. Probably one of the best villains they made, and then they softened her.

Game was better bc we got an abused girl find the courage to stand up against her mother. It was too real so the cowards at game freak softened it until it wasn’t the same story anymore.

The funny thing is, This was ALWAYS her. But at different points of her life. Or, a better way to say it. At different points of being influenced by Nihilego. She was always as sweet as the anime version, but the more she was influenced, the more she was like game boss version

I like both. Game Lusamine is just a genuinely irredeemable villain with a fairly compelling story line (for a Pokémon game), Anime Lusamine is just a science goober who deserves a vacation with her daughter.

This is why the villains of the follow up gens were lackluster. Rose just wanted a power supply made from the energy of a Pokémon to prevent something that didn't even have a definite date. Paldea had no villains. At best the characters were just misunderstood.

She is genuinely one of Pokémon best written villains. No way. Lol.

I've always preferred anime Lusamine. I like the idea of SM Lusamine, but I feel like she doesn't get enough screen time to make her situation feel like it's presented smooth enough. Doesn't help that she's removed from the post game so theres no good chances to smoothen it out.

You can tell this was a choice based on the fact that JP parent groups would not have let game Lusamine's personality on a recurring parent of a main character fly. Honestly, worked out for the better, so she could be DIFFERENT. AND THIS version deserved her happy ending

I'm not fully knowledgable about S&M Lusamine, but I will say Anime Lusamine tries to be a good mother to Lillie and Gladion.
