I absolutely despise pitbulls and believe every one of them should be euthanized. A couple of years ago I went to my employee's 2-year-old son's funeral after the families long time babysitter's three pit bulls ripped him in half. Apparently the three pitbulls got into a fight outside in the backyard with each other and the homeowner/babysitter went outside to break up the fight. When she went outside she left the arcadia door open and the 2-year-old followed out behind. The family pitbulls turned on the homeowner ripping a huge hole in her head and arm. Then they turned on the 2-year-old boy and immediately ripped him in half in front of his 4 other siblings who were watching from inside. It has nothing to do with how they are raised It has to do with their breed. Every dog is capable of attacking or biting someone but they let go/stop afterwards, pitbulls don't. That's the difference.

So, life update that worries me... Didn't sleep well last night. Was too worried if this drunk and drugged-up native was going to come back. My daughter took the garbage out and forgot to lock the door when she came inside. This guy showed up about 10 minutes later, and walked into my house. We were both just in our sleep shirts, relaxing, she in the living room and I was in ny bedroom working on an article Im posting shortly. I came scrambling out of my bedroom and found this guy plastered drunk standing in my kitchen. I immediately forced him out the door into the porch and closed the door behind me, putting myself between him and the door. He was so drunk he couldn't speak words, just mumbled. I calmly told him to get lost. He just smiled and stared at me with all his tear drop tattoos next to his eyes scrunching up. I told him again to leave. He stood there looking stupid. Finally I told him if he didnt leave I would call the cops, then I turned around, went inside, locked the door and retrieved my firearm. I had enough time to load ammo into a clip, get the trigger lock off my firearm and get back to the front of the house to find him sitting in the car still. I was waiting to see if he was leaving, or coming back. Because he gave off a vibe that he was willing to get violent for whatever he was pursuing. Just after Dave died, a white vehicle showed up and parked next door on the road at the abandoned property. A man came to my door and kept trying to get me to go to his vehicle to "look at something". Of course I didnt go with him, but it was enough to get me to hire an electrician to install the security cameras, especially after my kid's bow was stolen. I have 3 more cameras to go up still. But since Dave passed away I have to hire people to do these things and, well, its not cheap or easy and definitely hard to find someone with the time in their schedule to fit me in. I showed this video clip to a person I know here in town, who informed me this guy and his friend were revived multiple times over the weekend from fentanyl overdoses. All I know is the guy was so plastered if I lit a match while he talked he would have become a human mmolatov.i have no idea who drove him. As soon as the snow is gone, I will be fortifying my property like its a military compound so the next time one of these fuckers shows up word will spread real quick not to mess with "The Widow" as I've learned I am called in this town. Yes, I filed a police report and yes, I have passed on the footage to RCMP.

On Tuesday, 29 October 2025 around 4PM, I stopped by the mini-market near Zuva Service Station at Rhodesville Shops, Greendale to buy some water. I left my car idling with my son inside, thinking I’d just be a minute. When I couldn’t pay using EcoCash, I went back to the car to get a dollar. I didn’t realise there was a white Toyota D4D parked nearby with people apparently watching my movements. As soon as I went back into the shop, they drove closer to my car (a white GD6). One man wearing a bucket hat got out, pretending to head into the shop, but he was actually checking through my car window to see if anyone was inside. Luckily, my car is very tinted so he couldn’t see my son. The man then turned around as if he’d forgotten something and tried to open the front door. My son quickly locked the doors and pressed the hooter repeatedly. I heard the horn from inside but didn’t realise it was my son calling for help. The suspects immediately drove off, heading up the road and turning towards Kamfinsa. After I paid, my son told me what had happened. I went back to the shop, reported the incident, and the staff checked their CCTV. I was able to record the part showing what happened. Please everyone, be alert at all times — it’s no longer safe out there. Never leave your vehicle idling or unattended, even for a short moment. These criminals move fast and watch closely. A lot has been made about the knowledge of guilt exhibited by Jen McCabe when she did not immediately run into the house to check on her family after “finding” John. I would argue that these responding officers were intentionally shielding Brian Albert to the same, if not more egregious, extent as Jen. They’ve been on the scene of many, many emergencies. They know how lookie-loos typically behave - calling out to ask what’s going on, vacuuming their yard just to be nosy etc. They knew they were at Brian Albert’s house, and they knew who Brian Albert was. They knew John O’Keefe was an officer. Off the top of my head I can name multiple recent instances of people creating emergency scenes to attack police. The fact that in the 25 minutes between when they arrived on the scene and when they calmly walked in the front door, not a single responding officer began to worry about the fact that Brian hadn’t come out and no lights had turned on inside makes me wonder what else they knew.

Standing before the graduating class of Clifford University today giving the commencement speech, I felt something bigger than music. I saw a generation ready to change everything. 🇳🇬✨ When I looked into their faces, I saw the same fire that built me, that hunger to be seen, to make something out of nothing, to turn pain into power. I told them that talent might open the door, but purpose gives it meaning. We live in a time where young people carry the future of Africa in their hands. It’s our time, but it’s also our test, to use our platforms, our influence, and our voices to build, not just for ourselves, but for the next ones coming after us. As artists, as dreamers, as believers, we must lead by example. We must show that true greatness is not measured only in numbers, but in impact. My mother, Dr. Veronica Adeleke, understood that long before I did. She was a teacher, a giver, a woman who believed that education and compassion could change lives. Everything I am, the music, the drive, the heart, came from her. Today, I had the honor of inaugurating a hostel at Clifford University named after her. Walking through that building, seeing the smiles of the students who will live there, I realized this was more than a tribute. It was a continuation of her purpose, turning love into legacy, one life at a time. 5 years ago today, life as I knew it vanished: a cascade of symptoms I couldn’t name, days that blurred into months. A body that betrayed me. Hope that turned into confusion. I was a wife, a mom and I believed in the promise of science. I rolled up my sleeve and got my shot not because I thought I was invincible, but because I believed in contributing to something bigger than myself. If I could, I would never wish this on anyone. 2025 has been the hardest year yet. Promises made. Yet the door to healing never opened. Month after month, I find myself asking: Was all of this for nothing? Has it all been in vain? Then last weekend, kindly invited me to the 5th Annual Brownstone Event. What I expected to be a simple gathering of like-minded people turned into something unexpected. Jay Bhattacharya and closed out the event reminding us of the beautiful community in which we now find ourselves, forged through the last 5 years. Reminding us of the priceless wisdom we have gained and the importance of continuing to make sure these injustices never happen again. Finally after a closing prayer by Fr. John Naugle, the entire room fell silent, literally left speechless, moved and changed. Grief and uncertainty, was replaced with purpose, resolve, and love of country and our fellow humans. Both of these men reminded me that this is anything but senseless. Even in the wreckage, there is purpose. Our suffering bears witness to truth, to courage, and to the power of human spirit. That hollow space that’s grown in me this past year, created by disappointment and uncertainty, filled again. Not with answers, but with a renewed sense of meaning. A reminder that light still exists, and that what we’ve endured can still serve something greater than ourselves. I still don’t have the answers. But I’ve learned that meaning doesn’t come after the pain, it’s something we create through it. Every act of kindness, every conversation, the community we build, that’s how we fight back. 5 years later here I am. Still breathing. Still fighting. Still striving to turn this brutal chapter into change. To everyone walking (and rolling) this road with me: I see you. I’m proud of you. And I’ll keep fighting with you. Here’s to meaning. Here’s to hope: exactly how fragile, exactly how stubborn, and exactly how alive it needs to be.

P1: "Everything was public." NOT a casket at the Memorial. How can anyone destroy an unknown grave? Why be worried about something that hasn't happened yet? All they'd have to say is: "He's buried at an unknown location that will be undisclosed for (x) amount of years or forever." or "he's been cremated and we have his remains." Now... I KNOW this is ALL theatre for the Target Audience... but the TA doesn't know it. So, TA, you're victims of taking the bait, time after time. The Pain Cave. Ultras are known for the “Pain Cave,” this mythical place where athletes suffer for hours on end. What I learned after my bike accident in April is that the Pain Cave doesn’t mean “pain” like a head injury or broken bones. It means stripping down the physical artifice of normal life and exposing your muscles and sinew to the world. It’s totally vulnerable, and I (the anxiety-riddled former football player who very few people believed was setting a reasonable goal) wanted to see what would happen when I was stripped down to that vulnerable place. Leadville was my first 100 miler, and I didn’t care when and how I got to experience the Pain Cave. I just wanted to experience it of my own volition, not because of a damn car making a left turn without seeing me. And I learned that I could go into that cave, turn on a light, and find thousands of people giving me love and telling me how I inspired them no matter how the race turned out. I hope I can inspire other people to do things that mortify them and seem impossible. Because when you venture into the cave and make yourself that vulnerable, I bet that there might be something special waiting for you when you turn on a light 🧡 This video is from the 20% grade on Powerline climb at mile 80. I didn’t want to walk a step of the race, and I was having doubts. I was in the cave. And the believers were with me in this moment, carrying me to a record I didn’t know I could achieve. Thank you to all my cave friends 🙏 Also, on the drive home to our AirBnB after the race, I thought I was dying. It was my first 100, and it felt so strange. I made Megan pull over. She’s a doctor, and she assured me I wasn’t dying. But I wasn’t sure. So I sat there, about to pass out, when suddenly: FARRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTT. I let out a 20-second fart from the pits of hell. “It was just a fart panic,” Megan said. Ultras are the best.
