Cleaner streets. More support for businesses. And a renewed focus on making this historic neighbourhood a place where people feel comfortable walking, shopping, eating and spending time. For ABC Vancouver Council candidate Lorraine Lowe, the changes are deeply personal. As the longtime Executive Director of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, Lorraine saw firsthand what Chinatown went through. She saw people suffering and in distress on the streets, businesses struggling, and residents and visitors increasingly concerned about their safety. Jack Taliercio rarely gives interviews. He’s known for some of the most unnerving footage from 9/11, where he enters the plaza, you can hear the music still playing, see a glimpse of the horrors of Liberty Street, and of course hear and briefly see the unidentified man who was with him. Other than a brief mention in 2002, Jack has barely discussed what happened. Until now. In this sitdown, he goes into detail. A man approached him, a little short man in a blue windbreaker with a clipboard in his hand. “Hey, you wanna get in there?”- Jack says it while mimicking the man in an almost perfect accent. Jack ended up following this man down Church Street, ignoring the commands being given around them, walking right through the doors of WTC 4, past the staircase and security desk, and out the back of the building into the plaza. He suddenly found himself right at the base of the South Tower. His footage from there is one of a kind. The music playing in the plaza made the whole experience feel beyond surreal to Jack. Cars were on fire on Liberty Street. Two people emerged from the South Tower and looked up in shock. Firefighters hugged the wall of the tower, trying to avoid falling debris. Jack says he never felt comfortable, he had an uneasy feeling the entire time. And the unidentified man kept chattering in his ear. Jack describes it as almost feeling like the man was using him for some kind of objective he had. He still does not know what the man’s role was or what he was looking for. At one point, the man tells him: “Come on, let’s get out there. Let’s get out there together. 🚨BREAKING: Masked, armed Border Patrol agents illegally detain U.S. citizens, attempting to open their doors, and then threaten them, for simply driving in their own Minneapolis neighborhood. In the video, Border Patrol agents exit an unmarked van with pepper spray visible and begin walking toward a car that is filming them. The vehicle is parked at a distance. The occupants are not blocking agents, not interfering, and not even close enough to physically impede anything. They are simply observing and recording from a public street, which is a constitutionally protected activity. As agents approach, the women calmly state they will not roll down their window and explain they are just driving through their own neighborhood. They are under no legal obligation to engage, identify themselves, or open their vehicle in the absence of reasonable suspicion or a lawful order. An agent then attempts to open the passenger door anyway, without consent, without a warrant, and without probable cause. The only thing preventing this from becoming a forcible entry is the fact that the doors are locked. After failing to gain access, the agent falsely claims the women are “impeding a federal operation” by “following” them, despite the video showing no pursuit, no interference, and no obstruction whatsoever. Observation and filming in public is not a crime. He then issues a threat, stating they will “not get a second warning,” before returning to his vehicle. This is not law enforcement. This is intimidation, attempted unlawful detention, and an attempted vehicle entry without legal authority, carried out against U.S. citizens who were exercising their constitutional rights. And if armed federal agents feel comfortable escalating like this over nothing, the question isn’t whether this was legal, because it wasn’t. The question is how long Americans are expected to tolerate federal agents threatening, lying to, and attempting to detain citizens for the crime of being present in public and refusing to submit.

🚨👀 KEITH JONES TAKES THE STAND — TESTIFIES ABOUT ALLEGED $1 MILLION HIT ON QUANDO RONDO Keith Jones took the stand and told the courtroom that he is currently in federal custody after pleading guilty to charges involving murder-for-hire and stalking resulting in murder. The prosecution then began walking Jones through photos and exhibits connected to the alleged shooting. 📸 THE GAS STATION SHOOTING Prosecutors showed a photo from the shooting at the gas station and asked Jones to identify the people pictured. • Jones identified himself as one of the shooters. • He said he did not know the name of the person who was killed. • When asked who the intended target was, Jones identified Quando Rondo. Another photo was shown of the group walking toward the gas station through an alley. Jones was asked to explain what was happening in the image. Prosecutors then showed an image from In-N-Out, and Jones confirmed that was where they went after the shooting. ⏱️ 20–30 MINUTES AFTER THE SHOOTING Jones testified that it took approximately 20–30 minutes to get to In-N-Out after the shooting. When prosecutors asked whether he could identify anyone who participated in the killing of Lil Pab, Jones said yes.
