Today would have been my nephew Matthew Perna's 42nd Birthday. If January 6, had never occurred, he would probably be married with a baby or 2. His Dad would still be alive, instead of deteriorating and dying a brokenhearted man, 2 years after Matthew. Matthew loved so many things in his life, one was music. His Dad was a classical pianist and taught him to play. (My Dad was also a pianist, who taught Matthew's Dad and the rest of our family.) He had not played piano for several years, but when he decided to stay near his Dad after his Mom died unexpectedly, he bought a used piano.
