Gujarat sees a GIB chick after a decade, through a novel conservation measure - the jumpstart approach, coordinated by the Ministry, State Forest Departments of Rajasthan and Gujarat, and Wildlife Institute of India. Envisioned by PM Shri Narendra Modi ji in 2011 to conserve GIB in its natural habitats including Gujrat, Project GIB was launched in 2016. As a result the number of birds in conservation breeding centres, started at Sam and Ramdevra in Rajasthan, have reached 73 with addition of 5 new chicks in this season and we are moving ahead towards rewilding of birds in near future. In achieving another milestone, a female GIB, tagged in August 2025, had laid an infertile egg in Kutch, as this population has lost all its males long back. In a major trans-state conservation effort, a captive-bred GIB egg from the conservation breeding program in Rajasthan was transported by road over 19 hours in a handheld portable incubator and was replaced in the nest on 22 March. The female completed incubating this fertile egg and hatched it on March 26. The field monitoring team found the young chick being reared by its foster mother. This effort is among one of the many steps to recover the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard populations. With the commitment to save GIB, we are making great progress in India’s conservation journey. Congratulations to all scientists, field officers and wildlife enthusiasts who made this possible. The Fortnite Sprite Season is almost ending. How we feel on them? 🟥 How many sprites did you manage to collect - master? Do you like this system? MY TIPS: 🔰PERK COMBO - only 1 perk per sprite makes them extremely uninteresting gameplay wise. And turned sprites into nothing but a collection Don't make it so i must have the sprite on my back for its perk. Allow me to combo 3 perks ch4 augments style without them being on my back. As the sprites you extract unlock you their perks to combo! 🔰BONUS PERK - If you combo 3 sprites of the same version, ex: cube. You get the special bonus perk of that sprite version on too! So 4 perks total. Like combo 3 gummy's for extra sprite dust. 🔰Make it so having sprites on your back is exclusive for leveling them up and extracting. Or showing off even if someone wants to. How limited sprites are has made them so useless gameplay wise I think If Fortnite makes these changes, Sprites go from just collect them onto generational gameplay potential! ❤️ Let me know what you think of this

Some insider info regarding Deadlock PvE. The PvE mode features 4 game variants and 7 different stages* (*?). Heroes have a progression system and personal Artifacts (currently one of the testing options). ​You kill monsters and get a chest containing an item. In one of the variants, chests drop from bosses. In another, they are rewarded for completing challange (potentially along the lines of: "kill 100 monsters using the 1st skill, get upgrades beneficial for the 1st skill"). Items can stack and be upgraded (similarly to Streetbrawl, but like you'll get 4 items, but each duplicate will affect the damage percentage, radius, etc.) The number of items and possible upgrades is limited. There are also legendary items from Streetbrawl, as well as a new type of item (artifacts) that have a separate inventory slot. ​Bosses can disable your stamina and items, and affect both you and the monsters in general. The final objectives differ for each mode, but exact descriptions are not available yet. --- ​In reality, this is the exact same thing that happened with StreetBrawl 6 - Valve threw in a wide variety of ideas and is currently testing them. APPRECIATION POST ✨ Would love to take a moment to Thank and show Appreciation to everyone who came to support our beloved Lingling Kwong with the most loudest cheers 🗣️ First and foremost (I) Admin Sha was planning on taking a break . Diagnosed with a Heart Complication that forced me to get hospitalized and limited my ability to move in a daily basis hence decided to take a break & try comeback more active next year. But that plan got postponed with the news saying P’Ling was coming I jumped out of my bed out of excitement & happiness and jumped straight to planning all the things we had to do for the visit. To be able to represent our fans here in Malaysia was a big honor yet a big responsibility we had to take on. Despite all the challenges our team have been through we made it this far with only 3 Admins pushing through all the hardwork to make this event memorable for both P’Ling and the fans. A big shoutout to the Golden Angels Family & JKR Family for contributing and making the event more memorable for all of us. Our volunteers the ‘Crew Team’ who sacrificed their jobs to come help us admins and helped with every small and big tasks that needed to be done with precision and made the event run smoothly. A large tank at an aerospace factory in Garden Grove started leaking. The chemical inside - methyl methacrylate, or MMA - is a clear liquid used to make airplane canopies and strong glues for aircraft parts. When air got in through the leak, the chemical began to harden and turn solid…just like superglue or epoxy does when you leave the tube open. This hardening process creates a lot of heat. With thousands of gallons reacting at once, the heat keeps building and speeds up the reaction even more. This “runaway” effect has raised the tank’s temperature, damaged the tank walls, and is releasing toxic fumes. Timeline • May 21, 2026 (Thursday, ~3:40 p.m.): The 34,000-gallon tank at the GKN Aerospace facility in Garden Grove develops a leak. Air reaches the roughly 7,000 gallons of MMA inside, starting an exothermic curing reaction. Orange County Fire Authority responders arrive on scene on Western Avenue. • May 21–22, 2026: Heat from the reaction builds quickly. The temperature of the material rises from normal room temperature to about 90 °F. Toxic vapors begin venting from the tank and internal pressure starts to increase. • May 22–24, 2026: Evacuation orders are issued and expanded for safety. Approximately 40,000 residents in Garden Grove and nearby areas are told to leave. GKN Aerospace chemists and local hazmat teams monitor the tank around the clock and work on cooling and containment steps. • As of May 25, 2026: The tank is still unstable. The runaway chemical reaction continues, and emergency crews remain on site performing damage-control operations. The liquid MMA itself is highly toxic. If the tank fails completely, thousands of gallons could spill into storm drains and waterways, causing serious long-term environmental damage.
