Crazy she tried everything to get help😢💔 it’s a horific case all the way around. Why is she seeing nurses? Not psychiatrists 🤷🏻♀️

That’s another thing that’s wrong with the healthcare system is doctors are always too busy. They do have nurse practitioners who specialize in mental health who are just as great, but it just feels like they hand you off to whoever’s free and they are only working with the notes they’ve been given from the last person

A physicians assistant only has a two-year postgraduate degree. I’m not letting them do my mental health. My brother has a PhD in psychology is more qualified but no training in meds, should be seen by psychiatrist. Ya I do a lot of Drs hair they are exhausted! The system sucks!

This poor woman was let down by everyone and now some asshole DA thinks she should be in prison for murder. She loved her children and will be in her own prison for the rest of her life. This case is a tragedy

Wonder what meds she’s on now….

I was just wondering the same!!

Severe insomnia is literally a precursor to post-partum psychosis. My doctor issued a stern warning about getting more sleep after he asked me WHAT I was feeling. (Ask that instead of “How are you feeling?”) And he helped create a plan for how to do that.

This is literally a eugenics prescription. Prozac is poison. It will make you hurt yourself. It will make you do things you never imagined. Do not take this poison. Run like hell from anybody who suggests it.

Holy crap! The doctors should be in prison. Just throwing meds at an issue and not listening to the warning signs!

I have a son that they put on psych meds for depression then he ‘developed’ other mental health issues he got worse and worse he was away at college but I could hear the desperation in his voice and words. He found. A psychiatrist that actually listened, ran a complete metabolic panel on him … he was at toxic levels! He was so overmedicated he was slowly dying! This psychiatrist slowly titrated him off everything. Now if he’s feeling low or anxious he takes a little bite of a THC gummy… only when he won’t be leaving the house! He’s doing GREAT - these medications are harming society!

They just kept pumping her full of drugs. Unbelievable

Heartbreaking. Insurance also blocked inpatient extended stay. She could not have been more ill! Everyone failed her and her children.

Lindsey Clancy was on 13 psych meds at the time she killed her children and jumped off the roof, resulting in permanent paralysis. Eight (8) drugs were “downers,” or CNS depressants. The people who should be on trial are the doctors and nurses who prescribed this lethal cocktail of drugs. I’m a former pharmaceutical rep who quit after 11 years and changed industries to IT sales. Psychiatrists are the worst doctors I ever called on. This is what they do: polypharmacy. They’re a bunch of Yeehaw Cowboys shooting drugs at people with both barrels. In my 2-state territory, there were only 2 psychiatrists I would trust with a family member, out of hundreds. RUN, don’t walk, from SSRIs and benzos.

And at no point the medical providers never considered LESS medication? Holy crap

I had a three year-old toddler and a six week old baby when I caught my then husband in bed with a high school dropout! Those events, the divorce and the postpartum depression created the worst anxiety ever! I went down a rabbit hole of 20 years of being prescribed those medication‘s listed. In many cases, double the strength that you have listed. At no time did I neglect my children or have any thoughts of harming them! When I did want to harm myself, it was because I thought they would be better off without me. No matter how sick I was, or overmedicated I was, I wouldn’t have harmed my children!

Hormones need to be taken in to account here, also. I have had PMDD all my life and it came RAGING back after giving birth. This happens to a lot of women.

It’s heartbreaking. Its so scary how badly she was overmedicated. McLean Hospital is the number one psych hospital in the country and they failed her.

**Pharmakia** (Greek: φαρμακεία / *pharmakeia*) means the use of **drugs, potions, poisons, or spells**—blending medicine, magic, and sorcery in ancient Greek.

Medication-resistant depression? Ketamine therapy sounds indicated, and did she ever try anything other than pharmaceutical interventions? So sad.

Yes!!! Thank you for saying this! Ketamine is amazing

@AdambombATX Do you really think so? If you don’t mind I’m sharing a bit about myself/situation in screenshot attached. came across this reply, wonder if the ketamine is actually a good alternative to other psych meds? My dr is really hopeful it’ll be life changing for me but I’m scared.

@AdambombATX I believe it is a good alternative. It has definitely worked for me. I would recommend giving it a try.

@tobesocarIy @AdambombATX I’ve taken nasal spray ketamine for my ptsd. 100% worked for me. A spray was enough for me to get back in the moment.

@tobesocarIy @AdambombATX I can see how it’s probably extremely affected for PTSD! Did you notice mental clarity?

This case is so fucking sad, on so many levels

That’s a lot of meds and multiple in the same classes at the same time. I wonder when she took the Ambien that day. You won’t remember anything when taking Ambien. It’s a scary drug. People do weird things on that with zero memory of it.

Holy s*** I need to go back to my journals in the 90s I started Zoloft I could not sleep I was crazy crazy I felt awful I felt worse I felt nuts And then trying to come off of them... I almost lost my mind thank God I did get off of them

Trazadone is one of the worst drugs I have ever been addicted to worse than methadone and heroine combined

I just found out that they may have missed her having undiagnosed bipolar 1 disorder which could definitely alter the way she responds to those medications as well

I’m 44 and still haven’t been diagnosed and been prescribed every drug just about known to man and been on the ADHD waiting list for years and still no help from the doctors but they would happily prescribe me garbage opioids or so called antidepressants the fucking the rodents

The insomnia sounds like a bipolar manic phase. The Zoloft would make that much worse -psychotic even. Shocked that McLean Hospital did not recognize this & treat her for mania brought on by SSRIs.

I hope so, too! If I wasn’t a medical professional that’s what would’ve happened to me, but when I felt worse I stopped taking the drugs. Poor husband. What a tragedy! God bless them all. RIP 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

That’s what I did and would suggest anyone to do, safely. Stopping these mind altering meds!!

Husband should have been told not to leave her alone with kids. This is medical malpractice. I pray the court shows her mercy and none to the medical practioners.

Omgoodness the combination of these medications is a bomb waiting to explode . Beyond sad.

You have to give it to the pHARMa reps cosplaying as drs & nurses, they didn’t take “NO” for an answer and their literal silver lining… they now have a patient to force meds in for the rest of her life bc she’s obviously crazy and they can use her as a lab rat Just say “NO”

This was my life except the end. 23 years on 4 antidepressants, 2 mood stabilizers, Xanax, and Valium. Every day. I tried to unalive myself daily. Drs kept prescribing more and more Lost my job. Lost my insurance. Couldn't afford the meds. 6 months of horrific withdrawl 👍 now

@SAZOAWM Damn. This very thing, this timeline is happening to thousands of women today as we speak. A sad reality that hits home to so many women who will be watching this trial 😢

I get all the psych med harm, but why did she continue on this path with so many negative outcomes? She kept going back to the same doctors.

Seriously, look this stuff up. The amount of divorces that these medications have caused is mind blowing. And the doctors don’t even give you a heads up. Go down big Pharma rabbit hole. Best to find natural cues that people used to use that does work.

In my opinion, that’s happened to many women and the people that are supposed to be helping them either. Don’t see the signs or they don’t care to see them the women are sent to jail when they get off the drugs and realize that they’ve killed their own children they’re probably horrified and then have to live with that. We just don’t have a good system for mental health.

This reminds me of a 48 hours episode I just watched about well behaved 12 year old Christopher Pittman who was prescribed Zoloft for depression due to family separation problems and all around turmoil who lived with his loving grandparents who he adored. As his medication increased, he took a shotgun and killed both of them, and has no memory of it. When his remaining family finally got the doctors to stop giving him Zoloft, he went back to the normal sweet boy he once was, but his lawyers made the decision to take it to trial, rather than accept a plea deal, and he was sentenced to 30 years It infuriates me to think about how Big Pharma gets away with producing these dangerous drugs, and even more infuriating are the doctors who prescribe these drugs Here's the heartbreaking story👇

Lord, bring this family justice, burn the pharmaceutical industry TO THE GROUND

@KY_wildcatzgirl Horrible outcome. 20 years ago. Depressed so I went to a psychiatrist to talk to someone. Never talked Put on a host of similar medications over a couple months. Zombified Stopped cold turkey month 3 God knows what the outcome would have been. Criminals with RX pads.

I know you are right. It is criminal that they just kept plying her with drugs. Because there no real doctors anyone.. .

I'm curious what a genesight test would've shown about medication intolerances and how her liver was working. Is she a poor metabolizer? A left frontal lobe/prefrontal cortex scan would be interesting to see, too.
