I live in Australia and this is what our Governments are doing to "boat people". I find it abhorrent and wish we had someone with the calibre of Gary Lineker to speak up and challenge the government on this issue

It’s sad that we don’t have a functioning media anymore. Why should @JonathanPieNews and @carolvorders etc be the ones to call the Tories out via Twitter.

As an Australian, that slogan sends shivers down my spine. It’s not just the maritime legal ambiguity of boat stopping, it’s the offshore detention and subsequent abuses that go unchecked. Out of sight and all that. Cruelty shouldn’t be national policy.

I remember when you were comedy and parody Mr Pie… now you speak the words many of us wish we had the guts to say! Keep on doing your thing!
