bullish on $LNQ 🔥🔥

In the run up to the release of our LinqProtocol Tokenomics Litepaper, today we’re excited to start shining some light on the LinqProtocol token economy - a paradigm shift to the sustainability, utility, and most importantly, the long-term growth of the $LNQ token. Evolving a token economy is incredibly sensitive, and with this announcement, we aim not only to excite our holders about what’s coming, but also to emphasize a few critical messages: 1. There will only ever be one $LNQ token. On Ethereum. 2. $LNQ supply will not increase or change, in fact with the introduction of the LinqProtocol token economy we carve a clear path to deflationary economics as the network grows. 3. This is an evolution and extension to our existing tokenomics, not a change to how our tokenomics work.

We envision a world in which $LNQ gets used to power a global compute network and serves as the backbone for decentralised compute. Our vision positions $LNQ as the token that enables cost-effective and censorship-resistant compute at scale. To support this network, we’ve selected Arbitrum One as our Layer 2 solution. Optimizing for speed, efficiency, and minimal onboarding friction. $LNQ cannot be minted or created. There is a fixed supply, and over time, that supply will only shrink. On @arbitrum One we will introduce wLNQ, not a new token but simply a wrapped $LNQ token securely bridged to Arbitrum. Importantly, there will be no project controlled liquidity pools on Arbitrum as the core and only value of $LNQ remains on ETH.

Let’s discuss how wLNQ works: The process for bridging $LNQ to Arbitrum and receiving wLNQ is straightforward: • A user moves $LNQ from Ethereum to the bridge (e.g., 1000 $LNQ). • The bridge locks the $LNQ (1000 $LNQ locked). • 1:1 wLNQ is minted on Arbitrum One (+1000 wLNQ). • wLNQ is used on Arbitrum One to run an AI agent (Cost 500 wLNQ) • When the user wants to return to Ethereum, they deposit the remaining wLNQ into the bridge (500 wLNQ). • The bridge unlocks the equivalent $LNQ and returns it to the user (500 $LNQ), it then burns the wLNQ in the same process

Through this process it’s clear that wLNQ is simply a proxy of the only $LNQ token on the L1 and has no monetary value on the L2 directly. The total $LNQ supply remains constant, regardless of how many tokens are bridged. The video showcased at the top of this thread teases some of the most important components of the LinqProtocol ecosystem on Arbitrum. Standout features we’re extremely excited about are:

• Quad-Income Staking Pools Staking pools that earn rewards based on the value they bring to the network. Sustainable earnings are generated from protocol fees and functions, offering value to users who aren’t active Providers or Requestors, but still want to stake and lock $LNQ. • Deflationary Auto-Burning Mechanics As $LNQ moves between parties buying and selling compute power, a fraction is automatically burned. As total job volume grows, so does the burn rate - driving a naturally deflationary economy. • Adaptive Unlock Emissions Moving beyond linear emissions, this new mechanism unlocks only the necessary amount of $LNQ based on actual transaction volume on LinqProtocol. This keeps inflation in check and pushes the economy into deflation as usage increases. • On-chain Governance LinqProtocol will enable users to vote on a myriad of important and self-balancing parameters in the LinqProtocol Economy. This includes but is not limited to: - Grants from the LinqProtocol treasury to specific providers (for instance setting out a grant to pay more $LNQ to providers with enterprise grade GPU power). - Control over protocol parameters (for instance allowing the community to control the percentage of fees charges per compute job). - Dispute resolution where the community will govern job disputes between Requestors and Providers.

We’ll go deeper on these mechanics in the full Tokenomics Litepaper, so stay tuned. Lastly, we’d like to share an example flow for a user purchasing $LNQ in order to participate in LinqProtocol. We’re incredibly excited about what we’re building - not just on the technical front, leading innovation in decentralized compute infrastructure, but in architecting a sustainable and impactful economy that can power the future of Web3 compute. The full Tokenomics Litepaper is just around the corner. Stay tuned — more details coming soon.
