For a confirmation, it's a good idea to write the simplest possible program (a couple integer vars, addition, output) in C, and say Rust and Zig, and then analyze the executables in Ghidra or smth. It's only C that gives a predictable result in Asm.

Folks will do anything but learn C, computer architecture, OS, hardware design.. and search for the next hot language or framework, oblivious to the fact that it’s been given to us a long long time ago. And those things won’t move anywhere.
