But why would God create something so powerful, so dominant, so impossible to ignore? Because the lion is more than just an animal. It carries deep meaning throughout scripture. It represents strength, kingship, and authority. And in Revelation 5:5, this becomes clear when God is revealed as the Lion of the tribe of Judah — a symbol of victory and divine power. Suddenly, the lion is no longer just part of nature. It becomes a reflection. Its presence, its roar, its dominance — all point to something greater. Nothing in creation is random.
